MgI2-catalyzed nucleophilic ring-opening reactions
of
donor–acceptor cyclopropanes with indoline-2-thiones as easy-to-handle
sulfur nucleophiles were investigated. A series of functionalized
γ-indolylthio butyric acid derivatives were synthesized in good
to excellent yields under mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, the
thioether functionalized ring-opening products could be transformed
to sulfone and methionine analogues.
PIDA mediated the oxidative acyloxylation/azirination, sulfonyloxylation/azirination of β-enamino esters were investigated. Series of functionalized acyloxy-2H-azirine and sulfonyloxy-2H-azirine derivatives were synthesized in moderate to good yields. This represents the first oxidative...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
