The aging process is impossible to be avoided, as well as determining the magnitude and speed with which it occurs, considering that its progress varies greatly between individuals and the practice of physical exercise brings benefits to this process, improving the physical-psychicsocial aspects. Thus, gymnastics has been practiced and adapted for all ages, making more people attracted to this practice. This research aims to report the experiences with the practice of gerontological gymnastics with seniors from the Vida Ativa Project. This is an experience report of the practice of gerontological gymnastics that takes place in the Active Life Project of the University Center of Patos -UNIFIP. As a result of the practices carried out in the classes, there is a perception of improvement in physical abilities (flexibility and strength), strengthening old friendships and making new ones, reduction of falls and fractures, improvements in gait, in body balance and in the mood of the seniors. Thus, it is concluded that the gerontological gymnastics class brings benefits to elderly practitioners in several aspects, allowing participants to maintain an active lifestyle, enhancing biopsychosocial factors and improving quality of life. Thus, it was found that the gymnastics program helped to improve the general functional fitness of the elderly.
A pesquisa objetivou verificar a percepção de alunos do ensino médio sobre as contribuições das brincadeiras e jogos realizados na infância para o desenvolvimento motor e cognitivo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo, descritiva e qualitativa. Participaram 67 alunos e como instrumento utilizou-se um questionário semiestruturado. Com isso, conforme a percepção dos alunos do ensino médio verificou-se um maior envolvimento na infância com brincadeiras tradicionais, as quais contribuíram para o desenvolvimento de habilidades motoras e cognitivas como correr, equilibrar-se, coordenação motora, como também concentração, atenção, linguagem. Assim conclui-se que os estudantes do ensino médio têm uma percepção bastante positiva sobre a contribuição das brincadeiras e jogos realizados na infância para o seu desenvolvimento motor e cognitivo.
The year 2020 saw the appearance of the covid-19 pandemic, and with it came several damages to society in its various aspects, with the elderly public being one of the most affected, especially with regard to the psychological dimension. And with that, religiosity presents itself as a way used to go through these adversities. Thus, the research aims to verify the religiosity of the elderly in the Active Life Project during the COVID-19 Pandemic period. Thus, it is an exploratory field research, approached in a quantitative way. Consisting of 24 elderly practitioners of physical activity from the Active Life Project of the University Center of Patos -UNIFIP in the city of Patos -PB. Thus, using a semi-structured questionnaire containing 15 objective questions. As a result, it is observed that the pandemic period made the elderly spend more time in their homes, thus maintaining a greater bond with their families. As well as, as a result of the longer stay at home, most elderly people were able to devote themselves daily to practices of their religion, and thus continued dedicated to maintaining religiosity linked to all dimensions of their lives and consequently could go through the pandemic period through it. Therefore, the religiosity of the elderly was of great importance so that they could go through the covid-19 pandemic, as well as to circumvent all the tribulations brought by the pandemic context.

TRATA-SE DE UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA DA PRÁTICA DA GINÁSTICA GERONTOLÓGICA QUE ACONTECE NO PROJETO VIDA ATIVA DO CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO DE PATOS – UNIFIP. COMO RESULTADOS ÀS PRÁTICAS REALIZADAS NAS AULAS TEM-SE A PERCEPÇÃO NA MELHORA NAS CAPACIDADES FÍSICAS (FLEXIBILIDADE E FORÇA), FORTALECIMENTO DAS AMIZADES ANTIGAS E FAZER NOVAS, REDUÇÃO DE QUEDAS E FRATURAS, MELHORAS NA MARCHA, NO EQUILÍBRIO CORPORAL E NO ESTADO DE HUMOR DOS IDOSOS. DESTA FORMA, CONCLUI-SE QUE, A AULA DE GINÁSTICA GERONTOLÓGICA TRAZ BENEFÍCIOS AOS IDOSOS PRATICANTES EM VÁRIOS ASPECTOS, FAZENDO COM QUE OS PARTICIPANTES PUDESSE FAZER UMA MANUTENÇÃO DE UM ESTILO DE VIDA ATIVO, POTENCIALIZANDO OS FATORES BIOPSICOSSOCIAIS E A MELHORA DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA. ASSIM, CONSTATOU-SE QUE O PROGRAMA DE GINÁSTICA COLABOROU PARA A MELHORA DA APTIDÃO FUNCIONAL GERAL DOS IDOSOS.
