The energy response function of the semi-imaging ISA Riber MAC 2 electron spectrometer has been determinated over the kinetic energy range 150-1500 eV. The absolute transmission of the analyser is proportional to KE;", with n ranging from 1.02 to 0.43 and K from 1575 to 23.2 wben the focusing voltage VFl of the retarding field grid increases from 5 to 20 V, i.e. wben the analyser resolution increases from 055 to 2.2 eV. The power factor n and the proportionality factor K are linearly decreasing when the focusing voltage is increasing: n = 1.23-0.043 VF, and K = 211-108 VF,.
