The objective of this study is to know the effect google classroom as learning platform in increasing students’ learning motivation in non-formal education subject of students’ Early Childhood Education programs during the first semester STAIN Mandailing Natal 2020/2021. This study is an experimental research with descriptive analysis. The population of this study was 128 students and there are 25 students as respondents in the cluster class. Pre-test and Post-test were used as techniques in collecting data. To analyze the data, the researcehrs used SPSS 16. The result of this study showed that the mean of pre-test was 47.692 and Post-test was 76.154 which can be concluded that there is an increase in the students’ learning motivation in experimental group using Google Classroom
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of leadership style to employee performance (study on English language education department). This study was quantitative research. The data of collecting used questioner. The population is seventeen and as sample. The analysis data of technique descriptive analysis and Likert scale. The result of this study shown that The four variables (leadership style) have an important influence to Y (employee performance). This can be seen from sales above almost all respondents answer strongly agree of category. This means that leadership style has big influence to employee performance in English Education Language Department, State of Islamic (STAIN) Mandaling Natal.
Basically, this research was to evaluate the learners respond about the teacher’s communication skill role in their success of academic. Hence, the goal of this research was to determine the extent of teacher’s communication skill at STAIN Mandailing Natal, North Sumatra. To ensure effective teacher treatment, effective communication skill plays role important. To this purpose the extent to which a teacher practice the communication skill in teaching and learning process. This research was performed by using survey, the researcher distributed questionnaire to collect data needed to obtain the role of communication mastership in intensify teacher's pedagogy skill. The design was quantitative descriptive research. The population consists of 494 students of Islamic Education Department major, meanwhile the sample size of 32 students at the 6th semester was randomly selected. The instrument was questionnaires as data taker tool & weighted mean. To interpret the weighted mean for each indicators, the Likert-type scale and finding of this research was average shows effective
This study aims to identify the relationship between English speaking anxiety and self-confidence of students in the Morotai Pacific University English education study program. The research method used is a correlational quantitative and descriptive approach. A convenience nonrandom sampling technique was used to select the sample. The sample of this study consisted of 54 students of the English Education study program at the Pacific University of Morotai. This data was analyzed through the Pearson Correlation Test. The results showed that most of the students of the English Education Study Program at the Pacific University of Morotai were afraid or hesitant to make mistakes in front of classmates and even lecturers. It is proven by the average Fear of Negative Evaluation (FE) is 31.44. 2) Respondents in this study had a moderate level of anxiety. The correlation coefficient regarding speaking anxiety and students' self-confidence was found to be r= -0.018 at a significance level of p= 0.896. Based on these findings, it was stated that there was no significant relationship between English speaking anxiety and self-confidence in students of the English Education Study Program.
Media merupakan salah satu kanal dalam mentransmisikan nilai-nilai budaya berikut perkembangannya. Salah satu hal yang digaungkan media bersamaan dengan perkembangan ini ialah melalui industri budaya. Industri budaya berbicara bagaimana para petinggi media menciptakan pasar dengan standardisasi, masifikasi, dan komodifikasi tertentu. Hal ini bukan menjadi ekspresi dari budaya yang hidup di masyarakat, melainkan hanya sebagai produk dari industri semata. Pembahasan industri budaya tidak pernah terlepas dari bagaimana kehidupan perempuan sebagai salah satu pihak yang menjadi target pasar dari industri budaya, sebab perbincangan tentang perempuan akan selalu menarik banyak pihak dari berbagai sudut pandang dalam melihat fenomenanya. Ini merupakan konsekuensi logis dari media yang hidup dalam sistem kapitalisme: memaksimalkan keuntungan, meminimalkan biaya pengeluaran. Tiga konsep utama dalam industri budaya ini -standardisasi, masifikasi, dan komodifikasi- membangunkan kesadaran palsu perempuan untuk� hidup sesuai dengan selera media. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi momentum tersendiri bagi para petinggi media menciptakan pasar ini. Hematnya, perkembangan teknologi dalam era digitalisasi ini justru menjadi jalan pintas dalam menyebarluaskan standar-standar tersebut. Perkembangan teknologi ini besifat suportif terhadap optimalisasi komunikasi industri budaya dalam menciptakan dunia dengan standar tertentu. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah mencari spesifikasi konten media seperti apa yang menggambarkan bagaimana perempuan dan laki-laki dan mencari tahu bagaimana hard content dan soft content digambarkan. Sehingga tulisan deskripsi ilmiah ini dapat menjadi acuan standar refleksi bagi individu dalam menginternalisasi dan memahami pesan-pesan yang terkandung� di dalam media agar individu dapat lebih kritis dalam melihat konten media yang ada. Melalui tulisan ini pula, seharusnya praktisi media mulai menyadari bahwa semestinya diciptakan kategori baru yang seyogyanya menggambarkan perempuan dan laki-laki pada konten yang lebih umum. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode analisis konten didukung dengan studi literatur dan dokumen terkait. Penulis mengumpulkan 30 artikel dari media berita online, hasil dari kajian penelitian menunjukkan, hard content yang berat membahas bisnis, olahraga, kejahatan, dan pengetahuan/teknologi cenderung disematkan kepada laki-laki. Soft content yang berat membahas tentang dunia fashion, kecantikan, edukasi, keuangan pribadi, makanan dan perjalanan, kesenian, serta hiburan, biasanya lebih disematkan kepada kehidupan perempuan oleh media.
