Institute dc Fisic;i Y hlatrm;itic;is, I~nivcrsidad ~licho;icana. hlorclia Michoac;in 5X040, Mexico Photoacoustic and photothermal techniques are used to iwestigate the room-temperature thermophysical properties of 9.4 mol7c lime-partially stabilized zirconia (Ca-PSZ) samples in the density range of 5.12 X I@'-5.58 X lO'kg/m'. The open-photoacoustic-cell approach is used to measure thermal diffusivitv, and the photothermal technique of continuous illumination of the sample in vacuum is used to measure the product of density and specific heat capacity. Thermal conductivitv is shown to be the thermophgsical parameter most sens&e to changes in porosity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
