A mathematical model for predicting the flow field of thermal plasma turbulent jet is presented. The model is based upon two-equation k-ε model of turbulence. Radiation of gases, as well as thermal dissociation of diatomic molecules are taking in account by separate model assumptions. In order to test the performances of the model, some experiments on air-nitrogen jet has been provided. Good agreement between results predicted by the model and the experiments, gives significant support to model assumptions correctness
