One of major pressure regulator features is its static characteristic. It is necessary to choose parameters fulfilling static characteristic requirements while designing a regulator. The article observes possible requirements imposed on static characteristic and shows mathematical description of balance of pressure regulator with variable characteristic. Static characteristics are plotted for some of parameters being varied and others fixed. Influence of parameters is analyzed on the base of obtained data and recommendations for its choosing are given.

The paper considers general approaches to the design and calculation of the characteristics of hydropneumatic dampers that can be used in the suspensions of mobile cars. It is paid particular attention to the determination of the main hydraulic characteristics of the flow part of the damper, including a direct-acting belt valve, based on numerical simulation.
When optimizing hydraulic systems, various algorithms are used, which are based on the control quality indicators selected as target functions. This is why there is a need to automate the calculation of these indicators. The article considers the main indicators of the quality of the transition process, a mathematical model of the LUDV hydraulic system is compiled and its calculation is performed in two mathematical modeling packages in order to confirm the accuracy of the initial data. An algorithm for determining the main quality indicators of the transition process has been developed, which makes it possible to simplify and speed up the optimization process of the considered LUDV-hydraulic system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
