In the context of educational supervision, the school quality development is extremely determined by the teachers, the principal, and the school supervisor. All of them have their task and roles. The purpose of this research is developing a Model of Managerial Competence Supervision for Principals with Clinical Approach School Based. The research procedures were conducted with stages such as planning and preliminary study, product design development, product try out, and the final product. These stages were conducted to know the appropriateness, practicality, and effectivity of the model. The results of data analysis on expert validation and the practicality by the school supervisors show a very high category. And the result of pretest and posttest data analysis on the limited and enlarged try out show a significant difference. This indicates that the supervision model with a clinical approach based is exceptionally proper to be applied in the implementation of managerial supervision.
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keingin tahuan peneliti dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran audio visual yang ada di SMP Negeri 1 Jenangan, Media audio visual adalah media yang mempunyai unsur suara dan unsur gambar, Jenis media ini mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih baik karena meliputi suara dan gambar. Untuk menunjang kesuksesan media ini haruslah dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai dan layak untuk difungsikan. Sejumlah peralatan yang dipakai oleh para guru dalam menyampaikan konsep, gagasan dan pengalaman yang ditangkap oleh indera pandang dan pendengaran berdasarkan pengertian-pengertian yang telah diberikan. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual didasari adanya masalah rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran yang menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dalam memperhatikan pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Menggunakan studi kasus karena dalam penelitian, peneliti menekankan pada penjelasan kasus, yakni pemanfaatan media audio visual pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu di SMP Negeri 1 Jenangan. Data yang didapatkan dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the researcher's curiosity in the use of audio-visual learning media at SMP Negeri 1 Jenang. Audio-visual media is media that has sound and image elements. This type of media is able to provide a better learning experience because it includes sound and images. . To support the success of this media, it must be with adequate facilities and infrastructure that are appropriate to function. A number of tools used by teachers in conveying concepts, ideas and experiences that are captured by the sense of sight and hearing based on the meanings that have been given. The use of audio-visual based learning media is based on the problem of low learning motivation of students in the learning process which causes students to be less active in paying attention to lessons. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Using case studies because in research, researchers emphasize case explanations, namely the use of audio-visual media in Integrated Social Studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Jenang. The data obtained by using observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation.
Transmission of knowledge through Wasilah in Sufi education paradigm has led students to be human beings who have impeccable character. Sufi education seeks to integrate the common mind, the heart and the actualization of the common mind and heart in man towards the purification of the soul. There are at least three stages taught by educators in building students’ character, the first stage, the seeker (al-murid) is a person who has sets of awareness and belief as a creature of God as creator. The second is musafir (al-sair), a servant of the upright walk with God. The last stage is al-wasil, a servant who attains perfect knowledge of God. The education that is now unfolding should refer to the objectives and philosophy of Sufi essential educational goals. The foundation listed in the Law on National Education System (UUSPN) should not only be an ideal setting and the plain theory, but also come in the realm of actualization and realization that can shape the character of each individual learner. Meaningful education that contains educational value should be the priority in the learning process. This can be done by activating the three basic domains in education such as cognitive, affective and psychomotor.
The current research is aimed at knowing and analysing; 1) the charismatic leadership in improving the quality of Islamic educational process, 2) the charismatic leadership in improving the supervising quality, 3) the charismatic leadership in improving the quality of educational outputs. This study employs a qualitative approach with case study design, and it applies a modified inductive analysis method. The research is conducted at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. The results of the study show that charismatic leadership in improving the quality of pesantren education consists of developing teachers' competence through formal education (Dual mode system, bachelor degree for high school graduates and master degree for bachelors in both Indonesia and abroad) and informal education (training and workshop of main curriculum), the visiting teachers, and facilities. Besides education, it also improves the quality of student supervision, which includes developing the dormitory, the supervising program, and the quality time. Furthermore, it also improves the outcome quality of pesantren, which is strengthening the network among domestic and international alumni, interboarding schools and universities, and entrepreneurship training and community service.
IQ is still a measure of intelligence in almost all educational institutions. The smart children, are those whose report card scores are good, their grade point average is above average. In general, the paradigm of intelligence adopted by society, especially our world of education today, can be divided into two types, namely the old paradigm and the new paradigm. First, IQ as a measure of intelligence. Second, the theory of intelligence which offers a broader view, that everyone has several types of intelligence that are sustainable and can be developed for lifetime. How one can use the intelligences to solve problems and create products in a conducive and natural environment.
