Palabras clave: arte rupestre, Chile centro-sur, períodos tardíos This work discusses the indigenous memory and its visual and material expression in South-Central Chile, from the Late Intermediate period onward (11 th-18th centuries). The authors provide new information for two rock art sites in Central Chile: Cerro Los Ratones and Los Luchos, recently discovered, comparing and analyzing them in light of other known examples. The article then examines the textual and material correlations with rock art further south, proposing hypotheses for interpretation.
