Open access (OA) journals have transformed the academic publication to a different realm, which was unfathomable years ago. The early 1990s witnessed OA journals founded by individual scholars which are now in the hands of major publication players using them as another disruptive business model. The benefits of an OA system outweigh its disadvantages. Growth in accessibility, visibility, citations, and impact on research work are some of the promising outcomes of OA. Though it has been contemplated as an inevitable element in scholastic writing for a long time, there are many misconceptions loaded with open access. The present study aims to navigate into the perceptions of open access journals among researchers intriguing into the fine clauses established in the scholarly publication arena. The chapter also intends to examine the features of major publishing houses in a global perspectives and probe into the best practices of open access from different publishing houses in an effort to enhance the overall capacity of the open access and to create a knowledge-based economy.
Tourism experience has been perceived traditionally in terms of products, destinations, and consumption patterns. However, modern travelling is seen as an experience, performance, surveillance, play, relationship, and a form of mobility. Research studies in tourism explored gender as a global phenomenon of biased consequence. This paper attempts to conceptualize the agreements relating to ‘tourism is a gender determined activity. Further, investigates the most crucial gender trends affecting tourist destination, like subjectivity and critically examines the premise that destination is actually a perceptual concept, interpreted by consumers and also a result of the moment, the people and motive of their travel.

The paradigm shift from dependency to self-reliance demands a set of skills and techniques as prerequisites to thrive in this competitive world. This chapter introduces a couple of innovative pedagogy strategies that can be inculcated in educational institutions, which will give rise to efficient entrepreneurs who can face adversaries and make an efficient contribution to society. The chapter aims to integrate realistic learning activities for fostering capability development in entrepreneurship education. Capability enhancement in entrepreneurship education includes activities that improve the knowledge, skills, and talents of potential entrepreneurs. The chapter aims to develop a model that further illustrates how the educational entrepreneurial experience could be explored.
