This paper intends to know how Qur’ānic Scripture influenced prevailing values of art and aesthetics with an exclusive Islamic worldview and contribution. It is an important aspect of Islamic civilization which may be studied from the very beginning of Islamic history along with later developments examining critically various characteristics of Islamic aesthetics. Employing analytical method, we came to know Qur’ānic Scripture as a precursor of Islamic aesthetics and raison d'être for Islamic culture and civilization. It functions as super hand in the Islamic cultural ingredient changing ideas and thought totally or partially ameliorating prevailing social standards. This discourse makes it clear that the Islamic foundation of aesthetics is one of the contemporary matter of the Prophetic era. By dint of this study, one may become familiar with the concept that how art and aesthetics were welcomed, customized, innovated and transferred after their infiltration as per Islamic norms inculcating values. Islamic civilization warmly welcomed to any alien sorts of aesthetic reflection trimming its irrelevancy off in the light of Tawḥīd showing harmony exercising within its own domain, identity and unique weltanschauung. Hence, Qur’ānic Scripture vis-à-vis Islamic aesthetics has self-explanatory evidences of its origin, distinctive historical promotion and its identity in different cultural diversity.
This paper aims to highlight the role of different exegetical approaches considering traditional to that of modern scholarship to comprehend possible dimensions of Qur’ānic worldview regarding a particular topic. This discussion has been demarcated generally into four major phases succinctly with further minor segments where scholars’ elaborations are also important elements expressing their own opinions and vantage points. For example, proportionality and coherence among various Qur’ānic subjects, contextual framework in addition to the involvement of thematic exegetical methodology, etc. where each dimension contributes well up to the possible extent. Employing the analytical method, we may examine the question of Qur’ānic Worldview to judge the text to contextual domain considering traditional vis-à-vis modern scholarship. Hence, this paper finds that in contemporary context together with epistemological concern, the mutual nexus between traditional-cum-modern scholarship supplements each other concerning different exegetical modes concerning cultural fluctuations depending upon the scholar’s capability of inference and insight. All these factors revolve around the various modes integrating the whole concept intermingling number of facets collectively that may project the possible Whole Part Relation Paradigm (WPRP) with a homogeneous view. It leads one to know, highlight, and demonstrates the Qur’ānic weltanschauung.
This paper intends to discuss the mode of Mushārkah to that of ownership in the light of Islamic Sharī‘ah considering current practice of Islamic Banking. There are opinions of scholars regarding this step of possession from partnership exercising agreement based upon partnership. This study incorporates different dimensions of partnership highlighting its various types and different juristic opinions in this regard either in the favor of execution of this financial mode or rejecting partially or otherwise. Employing analytical method, it has been visited number of traditional and modern view regarding the subject matter. As in diminishing Mushārkah contract, the client pays all expenses that consequent to ownership. It is concluded that the modern method of partnership, which is a new form of participation, is consistent with its origin and traditional permissible mode with particular conditions, so it is included in the financing issues of Islamic banks.
