This article shows the results of applying the feminist perspective in the study of homelessness, focusing on the vital trajectories of women who, in their stage of mature adulthood and/or old age, find themselves in some of the multiple situations typified as homelessness. Through a qualitative methodology that includes the voices of women themselves, research shows the impact of the intersection between the dimensions homelessness, old age and migratory process. The results conclude that, at the intersection between the mentioned dimensions, both gender and migration amplify the situation of discrimination of the homeless. This reveals the need to include the gender perspective in the processes of construction of social policies aimed at overcoming this type of social exclusion, as well as for the design of actions aimed at immigration.
Artikulu hau Bartzelonako hiriko etxegabeko pertsonen gizarteratze sozialeko prozesuak: Bizikontakizunak eta lagun-egite soziala doktoregotesiaren fruitu bat da, 2016 urtean Bartzelonako Unibertsitateko (UB) Gizarte Langintzako Departamentuan defendatutakoa. Aipatutako lanak zerikusia izan zuen UBko Hezkuntza Fakultatearen Hezkuntza eta Gizartea Doktorego Programarekin. Ikerketaren xedea Bartzelonako etxegabekoen gizarteratzera-prozesuak erraztu eta mugatzen dituzten alderdiak ezagutzea zen, haien esanaren eta lagundutako gizarte-profesionalen esanaren bitartez. Alderdi lagungarri nagusi gisara, erakundeekin duten atxikimendua eta etxegabekoek igarotzen dituzten prozesu konplexuetan zehar profesionalek egindako lagun-egite soziala nabarmentzen dira.
The objective of this article is to make visible the different health situations presented by the homeless in the city of Barcelona.
