Introduction:\ud
The preservation of masonry buildings typical of Italian historical centres represents a very pressing dilemma founded on recovery\ud
need of the urban fabric original character.\ud
Methods:\ud
In the paper, based on a speedy methodology developed by some of the authors on building aggregates, the seismic vulnerability\ud
quick estimation of some masonry compounds in the heart of the town of San Potito Sannitico (Caserta, Italy) is presented and\ud
compared to the results achieved from applying the basic literature method for isolated constructions.\ud
Results and Conclusion:\ud
Finally, the damage scenario of inspected buildings has been shown by highlighting clearly the influence of different positions of\ud
structural units on the damages that masonry aggregates should suffer under different grade earthquakes, leading to individuate the\ud
most vulnerable building
