Flat Design Trend in visual Communication Design. Visual communication design is how human being is communicating with visual image.Every designer has characteristic in their work, but in the last few years flat design appeared in visual communication design artworks. Many big and reputable companies used flat design such as Microsoft, Apple, Google , KOmpas , and many more. The flat design is very different from previously existing trend beacuse it formed simplicity by removing all forms of graduation effect, shadows, glossy and other. There are some who assume flat design is the implementation of a minimalist stykle and linked it with the famous Swiss Style in the 1940s until the 1950s. This paper expalined more about the development and application of a flat design in visual communication design AbstrakTren Flat Design Dalam Desain Komunikasi Visual. Desain Komunikasi Visual menjelaskan tentang bagaimana manusia berkomunikasi melalui citra visual. Setiap desainer memiliki ciri khas berbeda dalam setiap karyanya. Dalam beberapa tahun belakangan flat design atau desain datar cukup banyak muncul pada karya-karya desain komunikasi visual. Banyak perusahaan-perusahaan besar dan ternama menggunakan flat desain dalam karya-karyanya, seperti Microsoft, Apple, Google, KOmpas dan lain-lain. Flat desain jauh berbeda dari tren yang sudah ada sebelumnya karena gaya desain ini membentuk kesan sederhana dengan membuang segala bentuk efek gradasi, bayangan, glosy dan lain-lain. Ada yang menganggap flat design adalah implemenatsi dari h=gaya minimalis dan mengaitkannya dengan The Swiss Style yang terkenal pada tahun 1940-an sampai 1950-an. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of E-Wom and Brand Experience on MS Glow Skincare Product Purchase Decisions in Samarinda City. The sample for this study consisted of 95 people who had used and purchased MS Glow products at least twice and lived in Samarinda City. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach. The collected data is then processed using the SmartPLS software. The findings of this study demonstrate that E-WOM has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions and that Brand Experience also has a significant positive effect on purchase decisions for MS Glow Skincare Products in Samarinda City.
