The development of interactive media on learning to write experience-based short stories is designed according to the needs and characteristics of students who are expected to be able to overcome all the problems in learning activities to write short stories and make students more active, independent and able to think critically. This research was carried out at Amanah Islamic Modern School Middle School in Medan. The data in this study are the results of observations, interviews, results of questionnaires validation of material and design of learning media, the results of questionnaires teacher perceptions of learning media developed, and student learning outcomes totaling 32 people. Data from observations in the form of learning values writing short stories totaling 32 students so far and the results of interviews in the form of opinions of two Indonesian language teachers related to learning to write short stories obtained from students and teachers of Indonesian. Learning outcomes in short story text writing material based on the experience of students of class IX-1 Amanah Middle School Islamic Modren School Medan after using interactive learning media are in the category of "very good" with an average value of 80 and average values before using interactive multimedia learning media for 69.37 which is in the "good" category.
Reading in everyday life is very important, because by reading we can find out written information. Often read, people can master a lot of vocabulary, and can learn various types or models of sentences. Therefore, to improve reading it must be taught from an early age. The benefits that can be obtained from teaching children to read from an early age include: increasing children's vocabulary, improving communication skills, and being able to create their imagination. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using word cards to improve children's early reading skills in the experimental class at SDN 104181 Sunggal Kanan. To achieve the above objectives, a quantitative research approach is used. The type of experimental research is one group pretest posttest. In this study, researchers took a sample of 24 children in the experimental class and 25 children in the control class at SDN 104181 Sunggal Kanan. With data collection techniques using an assessment instrument. Data analysis using t test. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class. This conclusion is based on the final results of the average children, where the average pretest of children in the experimental class (before treatment) was 6.375 out of 24 children, while the average of children in the posttest results was 9.167. While in the control class, the average pretest of children ) was 5.8 out of 25 children, and the average of children on the posttest results was 6.44. In addition to the students' average results, the results of the t-test were also obtained, namely the t-count value obtained a significance value (sig.) 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effective use of word cards to improve early reading skills.
The research design used was True-Experimental Design research with a population of all fourth grade students at SDN 067250 Medan Deli totaling 46 people, namely 25 students in the experimental class and 21 people in the control class. The data collection technique used was a performance test that had been previously tested using a rater reliability test and a content validation test. While testing the hypothesis using the t test (independent sample t-test). Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that the predata data for the experimental and control classes are normally distributed and homogeneous. The value of t-count predata is smaller than t-table (-0.30956 <1.684), meaning that Ho is accepted. Ho is accepted, meaning that the experimental and control groups have the same variance at the time of pre-data. The posttest results show that the data for both classes are normally distributed and homogeneous. The posttest t-count value is greater than the t-table price (2.072 > 1.684), meaning that Ha is accepted. Ha is accepted, meaning that Think Pair Share is more effective when compared to conventional methods for science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN 067250 Medan Deli. The effectiveness of the Think Pair Share model is expected to be a consideration for fourth grade teachers at SDN 067250 Medan Deli to apply the Think Pair Share model to science learning with other aspects or materials. The use of the Think Pair Share model is expected to be an effective science learning model.
The Effect of Online Learning on Student Learning Outcomes on the Theme of Objects Around Us in Class V SDN 101752 Klambir Five Academic Years 2020/2021. Thesis. Primary School Teacher Education Department. Faculty of Science Education. Nahdlatul Ulama University, North Sumatra. This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on student learning outcomes on the theme of objects around us in fifth grade elementary school. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN 101752 Klambir Lima, totaling 36 people, consisting of 19 boys and 17 girls. This study uses descriptive quantitative research with data testing using SPSS 25. Data obtained through filling out questionnaires by respondents, data from schools and interviews as supporting data. This study tested the validity, reliability, normality and hypothesis testing. The results showed that online learning had a significant effect on student learning outcomes. It is proven from the results of testing the validity of the value of sig.(2-tailed) is <0.05. Judging from rcount and rtable, the result is that the value of rcount > rtable. The rtable value of 0.2785 was obtained from looking at the respondent's data. The results of the reliability test are known that the value of Cronbach's alpha > 0.6. The results of the Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test with SPSS are known that the value of Sig = 0.200> 0.05, so it can be concluded that the residual value is normally distributed. The value of the coefficient of determination is 67,1% and the remaining 32.9% is explained by other variables not explained in this study. And the results of the hypothesis test show that the value of fcount and ftable = 69,234 > 4.121. From the test results, it can be concluded that online learning can be a substitute for face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keywords: Online Learning, Student Learning Outcomes.
