The success of agricultural development cannot be separated from the readiness and competence of agricultural human resources, human resources are needed who have good capacity in planning, implementing, evaluating and monitoring the implementation of programs that have been planned, especially for the agricultural sector. The procurement of rice transplanters has become a concern for the government because it is also one of the programs contained in the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN). This study examines farmers' perceptions of the application of Rice Transplanter rice planting machines, comparative comparisons of farmer perceptions in Indrapuri and Montasik sub-districts, and the relationship between perceptions and farmer characteristics on the application of Rice Transplanter rice planting machines in Indrapuri and Montasik districts, Aceh Besar district. The purpose of this study is to find out how the differences in farmers' perceptions of the application of the Rice Transplanter rice planting machine and see the relationship between the farmers' perceptions and the characteristics of the farmers on the application of the Rice Transplanter rice planting machine in Indrapuri and Montasik Districts, Aceh Besar District. Data collection was obtained from a survey of 40 respondents of rice farmers in Indrapuri and Montasik sub-districts. The analytical method in this study uses a Likert Scale model, Mann-Whitney Test, and Chi-Square Test processed through the SPSS program. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the Perceptions of Farmers in Indrapuri and Montasik Subdistricts, the Perceptions of Farmers in Indrapuri Subdistrict had applied the application of rice transplanter seed planting machine technology stably, while the Farmers' Perceptions of Montasik Subdistrict had not implemented the stable application of rice transplanter machine technology, and Characteristics of Farmers who have a relationship with perception include: experience, land ownership, intensity of participating in training, and expenses, while the characteristics of farmers who do not have a relationship with perception include: age, education, land area, and communication.
Pengukuran tinggi muka air laut (water level) merupakan salah satu pengukuran parameter cuaca yang sangat penting di Indonesia mengingat wilayah Indonesia didominasi wilayah perairan. Pengukuran water level dimaksudkan sebagai data peringatan dini untuk mencegah kerugian yang ditimbulkan dari bencana seperti tsunami ataupun pasang gelombang yang tinggi. Dalam melakukan pengukuran water level terdapat beberapa jenis sensor yang digunakan, salah satunya adalah sensor dengan tipe pressure atau tekanan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan sensor water level pressure transducer tipe CS451 yang prinsip kerjanya adalah dengan membandingkan tekanan yang ada di dalam air dengan tekanan udara sebagai referensi dan menghitung selisih antara kedua tekanan tersebut. Selisih yang didapatkan kemudian di konversikan menjadi jarak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu perancangan sistem alat dan evaluasi kinerja alat. Pengukuran yang dilakukan pada tanggal 16 Desember 2019 – 31 Januari 2020 menunjukan data yang baik dimana data tersebut membentuk grafik sinusiodal dengan data rata-rata 1.466 m, nilai data maksimum 2.066 m dan nilai data minimum 0.821 m. Namun sensor water level mengalami permasalahan yang menyebabkan pengukuran yang dihasilkan menjadi tidak baik. Hal ini disebabkan salah satunya biota laut yaitu teritip yang menutupi sensor water level dan laju korosi pada sensor yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada sensor. Solusi yang harus dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan instalasi dan pemeliharaan dengan lebih baik, selain itu menggunakan cat anti-fouling agar kedepannya permasalahan yang sama tidak terulang kembali.
The potential for solar and wind energy at YIA Airport is quite large so that it can be used as a renewable alternative energy source. Based on data obtained from BMKG of YIA, the average sun intensity at YIA Airport is 6.21 kWh/m2 while the average wind speed is 3.07 m/s. This potential can be used as solar and wind hybrid energy to meet some of the electricity demand at YIA Airport using photovoltaic modules and wind turbines. Design of the wind turbine refers to research conducted by Mihai Lates and Radu Velicu (2014), which implements a basic savonius type wind turbine with an aspect ratio (α) 2, diameter (D) 3.50 m, number of blades (n) 2. Solar array design uses an off-grid system, then will be hybridized with the wind turbine. Based on the calculation result shows that the required area of the solar array is 2282.87 m2 to produce 2574 kWh/day, while the number of turbines proposed is 143 units to produce 136.90 kWh/day. With this design and based on the calculation, electrical energy will be generated for 13.55% (2710.90 kWh/day) of the total electricity demand at YIA Airport.
