With this research it is aimed to determine the personal traits of Street Children depending on them and also the socio-economic variables of Street Children resulting from their families. For this main aim in the research process, it is provided to have communication directly with the parents of Street Children using one-to-one and face-to-face interview method in the family environment of Street Children. In the research, after a long process of determining the addresses of Street Children, it is interacted with the families of Street Children who are told to have been worked / begged between 2012-2013 in Central County and towns of Erzincan province. "Street Children Research Interview Form", which is used in the interaction period of the families, is developed by the researcher with a multi-dimensional approach. In order to develop the structured interview form a broad scope literature investigation that contains the properties of Street Children is done; the sociologic variables, legal and executive regulations that contain the properties of Street Children are emphasized. In addition, interviews are done with both the families who show poverty and disadvantageous conditions sociologically and families who bear the same properties as the families of Street Children for due diligence. In order to determine the content validity of the form the evaluations of academicians in sociology, legal and education sciences are applied. The interview form is designed in qualitative model. For the analysis of the form qualitatively the investigations of statistics and educational measurement and evaluation experts are applied. For the determination of structure validity and reliability of the form, a pre implementation is carried out through the participation of 12 Street Children families. After the analysis made on the data that is obtained with the results of the pre implementation, it is provided to re-design the interview form, and after it is passed to the implementation phase. According to the findings of the research, the families of Street Children substantially come to Erzincan with migration and concentrate on side neighborhoods which form the environment of the city and on specific districts. Street Children are mostly in the age of secondary school population. The case of Street Children, which evolve with withdrawal from school, continuous absenteeism and with their multiplier effect, start in primary school and reaches climax in secondary school, but no Street Children is encountered in high schools. The results of research indicate that the Street Children could not benefit from the facilities of main and compulsory education and show the insufficient schooling ratio. It is determined with the research that the access of Street Children to compulsory education is not provided adequately, their education needs are not met, and they live "limit opportunity inequality" in socio-economic respect. <p class="apa">Teaching Turkish effectively and successfully is one of the main functions of all the teaching phases of Turkish education system. In secondary education, this duty mostly depends on Turkish Language and Literature teachers. The aim of the research named “Socialization of Turkish Language and Literature teachers” is to evaluate the process of vocational and organizational socialization of Turkish Language and Literature teachers according to teachers and the school managers’ view. This study includes 85 Turkish Language and Literature teachers and 62 school managers’ view who work in Erzincan city centre in 2013-2014 school year. In this study “The Scale of Turkish Language and Literature teachers’ socialization variables”, of which reliability and validity were analyzed, was used. According to findings both Turkish Language and Literature teachers and the school managers perceive “the process of in-services training” very inadequately within the context of practices that includes vocational socialization. Generally, school managers accept Turkish Language and Literature teachers’ “organizational socialization” less inadequate than teachers do. Turkish Language and Literature teachers and school managers think that social status of the teachers in Turkey “none”. The results show that Turkish Language and Literature teachers’ socialization practices cannot contribute to teachers’ vocational adaptation and dedication. In parallel with the results, it is suggested that in the context of vocational development and socialization of teachers in Turkey, specifically Turkish Language and Literature teachers, national norms which are compatible with international standards should be developed.</p>
<p>This research, which aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational justice, perceived organizational support and organizational cynicism perceptions of academicians, was designed with the correlational survey model in the quantitative research pattern. The data of the research were collected with the organizational justice, perceived organizational support and organizational cynicism scales. The research was carried out with 132 academicians who were in-service in the Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University located in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey in 2019. The data of the research were analysed using the frequency, frequency, arithmetic mean, correlation and regression analysis. At the end of the research, it was found that the organizational justice, perceived organizational support of the academicians were at a high level, their organizational cynicism perceptions were at a low level. According to another result reached, there was a negative significant relationship between organizational justice, perceived organizational support perceptions and organizational cynicism perceptions of the academicians. Extended Summary PurposeThe purpose of this research was to investigate learning styles of students registered in teacher training program accepting students through the special talent exam. Within this scope, dominant learning styles of pre-service Visual Arts, Music and Physical Education and Sports teachers were analyzed. Whether the distribution differed according to the dominant learning styles of pre-service teachers or not investigated, and whether there was a significant difference between the registered teacher training program and learning style or not was searched. Moreover, it was also aimed to determine whether score averages related to learning style components differed or not according to the registered teacher training program. MethodThe study group included 350 students studying at Art teaching, Music Teaching and Physical Education and Sports Teaching departments of Erzincan University, Faculty of Education in 2015-2016 academic year. In the group, 103 of the participants were the students registered in Arts Teaching, 127 were the students in Music Teaching and 127 were the students registered in Physical Education and Sports teaching programs. The study group included 192 male and 158 female students.Kolb's Learning Style Inventory was used as the data collection tool. Learning Style Inventory (LSI) developed by Kolb was adapted into Turkish by Aşkar and Akkoyunlu. The inventory included 12 expressions, and there were 4 propositions in each group. The importance of pedagogical formation training is remarkable for developing the professional competences of pre-service teachers. One of the basic functions of pedagogical formation is getting pre-service teachers have competences on teaching design through cooperative learning experiences in a social learning environment. During higher education, in-class experiences generally include socio-pedagogical learning processes fulfilled under the guidance of lecturers. The purpose of this research was to determine the views of pre-service teachers related to the development of pedagogical formation training and design competences. The research was carried out with 428 pre-service teachers who had pedagogical formation training in Erzincan University in 2016-2017 academic year. "The Scale for Pedagogical Formation Training, and Developing Design Competences of Pre-Service Teachers" was developed by the researchers. During the process of scale development, pre-implementation was administered with the participation of 83 pre-service teachers, and the scale was determined to have 2 factors. Total variance explained by the factors was 61.695%; and alpha reliability coefficient for the first factor was .923, and it was found to be .863 for the second factor. According to research findings, it was noticed that the perceptions related to the factor of "the quality of pedagogical formation training" had "high" level, and the perceptions related to the factor of "development of teaching design competences" had "medium" level performance.
