The Covid-19 pandemic has become a new threat for victims of the September 28, 2018 natural disaster in Central Sulawesi, especially those who are still living in the temporary shelter. The Large-Scale Social Restriction Policy as an effort by the government to spread the Covid-19 virus has implications for the economic activities of the community, including disaster victims in refugee camps. This condition encourages many people who have been laid off and business actors to open businesses. This article aims to examine the social innovations of the Sikola Mombine Foundation's Non-Cash Livelihood Assistance (“BaNTu Hidup”) program through the support of Save The Children and Swiss Solidarity as a form of social service for communities affected by natural disasters, especially for economic actors and vulnerable communities who went into businese. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and literature studies of reference sources and various program implementation report documents. Research shows that the Social Innovation promoted by the Sikola Mombine Foundation through the “BaNTu Hidup” program has succeeded in building sustainable family economic independence where 97% of the 353 beneficiaries or continue their development. The “Help for Life” program is implemented with new ideas and practices to solve socio-economic problems faced in order to create community economic independence. The “BaNTu Hidup” program is an example of community service innovation that is able to optimize social service practices in times of crisis.
