The limitless development of social media, its meaning and function have begun to shift, no longer as a means of establishing relationships, communication, but at the stage of losing the role of ethics and morals, even disputes have occurred triggered by debates from communicating in social media. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of Christian ethics education in relation to the impact of social media development in the era of disruption. Using descriptive qualitative methods with literature literature can find solutions for believers in facing moral decadence due to social media abuse by knowing the era of disruption and ethical challenges from the wrong use of social media can affect moral decadence so that Christian ethics education on a biblical basis can bring modern humans. Believers in particular have become bright in social media and their use in accordance with Christian faith in this era of disruption.
Several studies concerning the issue of the role of Church leaders in dealing with the era of disruption are needed in this era. There needs to be readiness for a church leader in Indonesia to build effectiveness and church growth amid the issue of the phenomenon of technological disruption. The movement of this phenomenon is enough to give a very big impact in the environment and the life of the church. Therefore, it is hoped that Church leaders can provide new breakthroughs to answer challenges in an era marked by everything that is conventional starting to erode. The method that will be used in writing this paper is a qualitative research method, with descriptive research stages through a library approach or literature study. Based on the results of the analysis of the findings as follows: First, building digital leadership by innovating to bring about relevant and significant changes, implementing a managerial system based on technology and being an example in utilizing technology. Second, building Christian communicators by paying attention to the context and needs of the times, building a technology-based Christian mission and maximizing technology for ecclesiastical services.AbstrakBeberapa penelitian yang menyangkut isu peran pemimpin Gereja dalam menghadapi era disrupsi sangat diperlukan pada era ini. Perlu adanya kesiapan bagi seorang pemimpin Gereja di Indonesia untuk membangun efektivitas serta pertumbuhan gereja di tengah isu fenomena disrupsi teknologi. Pergerakan fenomena ini cukup memberi dampak yang sangat besar di dalam lingkungan dan kehidupan bergereja. Oleh sebab itu diharapkan pemimpin Gereja dapat memberi terobosan baru guna menjawab tantangan dalam era yang ditandai dengan segala sesuatu yang bersifat konvensional mulai tergerus. Metode yang akan dipakai dalam penulisan karya tulis ini ialah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan tahapan penelitian deskriptif melalui pendekatan pustaka atau studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil analisa terhadap hasil temuan sebagai berikut: Pertama, membangun kepemimpinan digital dengan berinovasi membawa perubahan yang relevan dan signifikan, menerapkan sistem manajerial dengan basis teknologi dan menjadi teladan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi. Kedua, membangun komunikator Kristen dengan memperhatikan konteks dan kebutuhan zaman, membangun misi Kristen yang berbasis teknologi serta memaksimalkan teknologi untuk pelayanan Gerejawi.
This research was conducted with a literature study that utilizes concepts, theories, and explanations from primary sources in books, journal papers, and other academic sources. The analysis presented descriptively to explore the principle of "good-relationship," a pattern of relationships created in leadership. The deepening of guides focuses on the efforts that need to be developed by a leader in influencing and functioning optimally for his followers to move together to achieve organizational goals. It can be concluded that transformative leadership is leadership that develops aspects of good-relationship through four main components, namely: leaders who get rid of the practice of fear, leaders who communicate effectively, leaders who are open or transparent, and leaders who are empathetic and listening. All of these components provide strong support for the formation of good-relationship patterns in any organization. Even though it can get affective commitment among followers, it was also found that these four components are an essential part of Christian leadership practice.
