Indonesia as a country that has the wealth of natural resources, human resources and cultural resources, has a dream to become a great nation and aligned with other nations. Education is one of the keys to success for Indonesia to achieve its goals. The state made various efforts in the framework of educating the nation assisted by the community. In 1998 a group of community initiated a concept of education known as the Green school. Green school has two great vision, which are: (1) Establish rahmatan lil alamin generation, (2) Indonesia as green and peaceful country. Currently, the development of green school in Indonesia are very rapidly both in terms of quality and quantity. This journal is based on qualitative research of a case study on Bogor green school and Baturraden green school studied during July-August 2016. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, triangulation and documentation while data analysis techniques using Spradley. The results showed that the curriculum of green school are capable of forming students akhlakul karimah, students logical thinking, leadership and entrepreneurial spirit of students as a preparation to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Education changes from time to time. In the classical period scientists learn autodidactically with iqra, reading the phenomena observed in the universe. When the era of the industrial revolution happened, education in general are in a schooling system which stiffer and less able to optimize the potential of students, so comes the concept of alternative education that is increasingly in demand and becomes people's choice. One form of alternative education that continues to grow is homeschooling where the flexibility of learning programs is wide enough and homeschooler can study anytime anywhere and with anyone in accordance with their interests, talents and potential. Nowadays homeschooling get recognition from Indonesia ministry department of education and homeschooler are given opportunity to continue their education to higher levels in public or private schools in Indonesia and overseas. Today we are in the digital era. Implementation of homeschooling before and in digital era is certainly different. The digital era like the two opposing sides of a coin, on the one side give a positive influence while on the other side carries a negative influence when it is less wise to use it. This research is a phenomenology research that describes homeschooling as an alternative education and how homeschooling is done in the digital era. The data were obtained through literature study and field study with respondents of homeschoolers in district of Banyumas, Central Java, Indonesia.
Tujuan_Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan manajemen sumber daya manusia yang ada pada lembaga Pusat Zakat Umat (PZU) Kota Bandung. Desain/Metodologi_Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan sumber data. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Temuan_Penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia yang dilakukan Pusat Zakat Umat Kota Bandung sudah sesuai dengan proses manajemen, dan pengelolaan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia sudah sesuai dengan Standard Operating Prosedure (SOP) yang berlaku di Pusat Zakat Umat Kota Bandung adapun hambatan dalam pengelolaan manajemen sumber daya manusia yang ada sudah diberikan solusi baik oleh lembaga Pusat Zakat Umat Kota Bandung. Implikasi_Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi dalam meningkatkan pengelolaan manajemen sumber daya manusia Pusat Zakat Umat (PZU) Kota Bandung. <p class="Abstract">The aims of this research were to reveal: (a) The concept and aim of The Parent’s School that is implemented in Baturraden Nature School (b) Activities that are done by parents when they are involved in children education. (c) Challenges from the implementation of the parent’s school program. This research applied case study qualitative approach because it wanted to reveal what is behind the parent’s school program that is implemented in Baturraden Nature School. This research also revealed any activity that involved the parents in the educational practice in Baturraden nature school. Moreover, it also revealed challenges as well as the things that attribute the implementation of the parent’s school activity in Baturraden nature school. The research data was gained from interview, observation, and document analysis. The parent’s school is a parent’s involvement program in children education that is considered as parent’s education needs model. The form of the parent’s school was not only conference, but it was varied through a variety of activities such as outbound or games. The parent’s school activity that has been joined by the students’ parents were closed with reflection and question and answer with psychologist or expert. Parents were also involved in the children’s assignment or project at home. This parent’s school activity was high almost ever students’ parents in the Baturraden nature school attended. This parent’ school program was very helpful in monitoring the students’ development as well as able to increase the children’s potential.</p>
