The article deals with the special mathematical method with the help of which it is possible to calculate the RMS value of arbitrary voltage or current PWM impulses occurring in power electronics. Impulses may have continuously variable duty cycle as well as continuously variable top and bottom covers. The tool is suitable predominantly for the analysis of voltage and current impulses occurring in power converters working in sinusoidal PWM mode.
The paper deals with practical realization of the acceleration method for the torque-speed characteristics measurement of the tree-phase induction motor. Reached results are compared with the characteristics measured on the dynamometer. The authors propose to use B-splines for the processing of measured data. Both their application and reached results are shown for the actual case. Further, the authors propose the measuring method of the moment of inertia of the rotor itself from the running up at the use of various numbers of additional flywheels.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
