ABSTRAKPenelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi dengan menggunakan metode snowball throwing dan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas pada SMAN Arjasa. Kelas XI IPS 1 terpilih menjadi kelas yang diajar menggunakan metode snowball throwing dan kelas XI IPS 3 terpilih menjadi kelas kontrol atau kelas yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode snowball throwing pada pembelajaran akuntansi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan mengalami peningkatan yang lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional.

This research aims to develop a model of local potential community empowerment through a village tourism program. This research method uses literature studies from various scientific sources. This community empowerment model is a development model that provides the greatest opportunity for rural communities to participate in tourism development by maximizing local potential. The local potential in Indonesia is very large, based on the results of local potential research conducted by BPS in 2018 showing that there were 83,931 government administrative areas at the village level consisting of 75,436 villages, 8,444 villages, and 51 UPT / SPT. Local potential also records 7,232 sub-districts and 514 districts / cities. The active role of the community is needed in the development of sustainable tourism villages and the preservation of natural resources in the tourist village. By finding and recognizing the character and abilities of the community, the types and levels of community empowerment can be determined to be appropriate and effective. Besides that, it is also to find and recognize the level of willingness of the community to accept tourism activities to be developed in the region as a form of community participation. The benefits of maximizing local potential are: able to improve the economy of the community, stimulate the existence of small and medium industries, promote local products, and preserve local culture.
<p><em>This research aims to know</em> <em>how many students are ready and less ready to face the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Hopefully, the results of this research can provide solutions and recommendations regarding actions that universities should take, especially students, to be better prepared to face the industrial revolution 4.0. The number of samples used was 49 IKIP PGRI Jember students and final-semester students (semester 7 ≥). The data collection method uses a work readiness scale with 20 questions and 5 alternative answers, while data analysis uses data and uses the Rasch model. The results showed that 38 students (78%) had high job readiness, while the rest were classified as moderate. The elements of the student work-readiness scale item (item measure) show that the ability to work in IKIP PGRI Jember student teams is very high, exceeding other items.</em></p>
