Reactions of 3,S-diaminopyrazoles with chalcones and ethyl a-ncetylcinnamates lead to new polyfunctional derivatives of pyrazolo[ 1JuIpyrimidine.The structures of the products and the mechanisms of their formation are Pyrazolopyrimidines are purine analogues and as such they have useful properties as antimetabolites in purine biochemical reactions"). Moreover, these compounds have marked antitumor and antileukemic activity3'. In previous work we have reported a variety of new procedures for the. preparation of differently substituted pyrazolo[l,5-u]pyrimidine derivatives4'.In this paper, the behaviour of 4-arylazo-3,5-pyrazolediamines 1 towards the action of a variety of a,bunsatumred reagents was investigated: la-d react with chalcones 2a-g in ethanol containing catalytic amounts of piperidine to afford the 2-amino-3-arylazo-5,7-diaryl-pyrazolo[ 1,5-a]pyrimidines 5a-z in good yield. The formation of 5 from the reaction of 1 with 2 is assumed to proceed by a Michael type addition of the most basic ring-N in 1 to the activated double bond in 2. The intermediatly formed Michael adducts 3 cycliz by water elimination to give the dihydropyrazolopyrimidines 4 which aromatize to yield the end products 5. -Although one may argue that the reaction of 1 with chalcones 2 may involve exocyclic or endocyclic pyrazole-N, involvement of endocyclic pyrazole-N leading to 5 was assumed based on the ability of pyrazoles to be alkylated at the ring-N5) and in analogy to previous lit.@.

Oxyphencyclimine hydrochloride (via its tertiary amine group) and glycopyrronium bromide (via its quaternary ammonium group) were analysed by two different colorimetric methods. The first method depends on the dye-salt formation method using tropeolin ooo as the anionic dye and 1,2-dichloroethane as solvent for the extraction of the formed ion pairs. The coloured ion pairs have maximum absorption at 483-486 nm. The second method is based on the use of citric acid-acetic anhydride reagent. The coloured complex has maximum absorption at 562-565 nm.
Summary. In this study 19 donkeys suffering from face excoriations below the medial canthas and lesions in the lacrymal apparatus were subjected to clinical radiological and microbiological investigations. Also histopathological examination of biopsy materials from ocular lesions were made. Eleven out of 19 donkeys (57.9%) showed specific lesions in the lacrymal apparatus. Mycological examination revealed the isolation of Histoplasma cells from 10 out of 19 examined cases. The isolated Histoplasma culture, although not completely identical to H. farciminosum, was more related to this than to other Histoplasma species. Histopathological examination revealed the presence of marked tissue infiltration by lymphocytes, monocytes and macrophages. Also the fungal organism appeared as double‐contoured yeast cells lying within macrophages and giant cells. Zusammenfassung. In dieser Studie wurden 19 Esel mit Hautabschürfungen am Vorderkopf unter den medialen Augenwinkeln und Läsionen im Trä‐nenapparat klinisch, radiologisch und mikrobiolo‐gisch untersucht. Auch histopathologische Unter‐suchungen wurden durchgeführt. 11 der 19 unter‐suchten Esel (57,9 %) zeigten spezifische Läsionen im Tränenapparat. Die mykologische Untersu‐chung führte zur Isolierung von Histoplasma‐Zellen bei 10 der 19 untersuchten Tiere. Die isolierte Hi‐stoplasma‐Kultur war zwar nicht vollständig iden‐tisch mit H. farciminosum, ähnelte dieser jedoch mehr als jeder anderen Histoplasma‐Art. Die histopathologische Untersuchung zeigte eine deutliche Gewebsinfiltration mit Lymphozyten, Monozyten und Makrophagen. Die Pilzzellen erschienen auch als doppelt konturierte Hefezellen, intrazellulär in Makrophagen und Riesenzellen gelegen.
In this study, kariesh cheese was manufactured with different concentration of Aloe vera gel (15, 20, and 25%). the chemical composition of Aloe vera gel was determined. Also chemical, antioxidant, microbiological and sensory properties of kariesh cheese was measured in fresh and during storage up to 28 days at 4°C±2. Treatments showed good quality prarameter, and good stability in fresh and during storage period with values very close to the control (T 1 ) one. Moreover sensory evaluation showed that all treatments were accepted specially addition of 15 aloe vera (T 2 ). Total bacterial counts (TC) demonstrated that at high concentrations of Aloe vera gel (20 and 25%) in a dramatic fall in the levels of total bacterial counts, take pleace.
