Satisfied job of banks is a typical concern across the world. Numerous researches tried to examine the comparative importance for comprehending satisfaction of job since the last two decades. The employer of banks has stressed the significance on employees’ satisfaction towards work so as to remain competitive. In Bangladesh, the current situation of job satisfaction in banks is appalling. But, they have slight focus on their staffs’ job satisfaction. Hence, it is expected to ensure and further develop job satisfaction for the sustainability of organizations. The main purpose in this study is detecting factors and their influence on job satisfaction. Initially, employees were respondents who are selected from Simple Random Sampling Method. Reliability Test, Test of Normality, Homogeneity of Variance and Factor Analysis conducted to find factors and finally Regression Coefficient Test and ANOVA Test are carried out for analyzing collected data, testing hypothesis and interpreting the results. The Factor Analysis identified six factors namely Managerial Support, Salary with Benefits, Training and Development of Career, Work Environment, Coworker Relationship and Sharing Information whose cumulative variance is 73.669%. Moreover, the Coefficient of Regression Test and ANOVA Test showed that, these six factors are the most influential for escalating job satisfaction. Like this, the authority are capable of being increasing employees’ job satisfaction and motivation by concentrating on effective six factors for reaching its definitive success.
The paper aimed at investigating the existing status and the impact of giving promotion on women’s position in the banking industry. The stud was used purposive sampling on 250 employees serving the public, private and specialized banks. Normal frequency distribution as well as inferential statistics (χ2-test) was applied to analyze data. For examining the effect of the number of promotion received by employees on gender position they hold chi-square test statistic was used. The study reveals that there was 85% of male and 15% of female employees worked in the banking industry. It was observed that female employees worked 16.7% of state-owned commercial (SOBs), 13.5% of private commercial (PCBs), and 13.08% of specialized (SPBs) banks (shown in Table 5). Consequently, a few numbers of female employees were at the senior level. The entry level female employees were 25% of female observed. The study also found that there was a strong association between the women’s position and the number of promotion they up gradated. The study has suggested for managerial as well as policy implications the study suggested for further study to treat equally sustaining in the competitive field of financial institutions. Int. J. The study aims at examining the ergonomics practices in the banking sector of Bangladesh especially on Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) and strains to show the relationship between ergonomics and employee satisfaction in the workplace. This study conducted on the existing employees serving the said bank branches operating in Rangpur. The significance of ergonomics in the workstation was commenced in 1949 in the Ideas Bank in US. Ergonomics, a new design of applying sophisticated tools facilitates employees’ performance and general productivity ensuring congenial work environment. A theoretical framework has been developed showing the dependent variable and independent variables were showed. The study confirmed that there is highly significant relationship between ergonomics factors and employee satisfaction withe help of Pearson Correlation Matrix. Employee satisfaction is very much important for earning profit and maximizing wealth of the bank. The study explored specific factors such as working tools, health, body posture, acoustics, working time, working environment and distinctly analyzed these factors while data collection. Data were collected through Likert’s Five Point Scale and used SPSS software. For internal consistency and reliability test, used Cronbach’s Alpha (.958) and KMO (.625>.5) test for quantifying observations in this study. The study identified six considerable factors having the direct relation with employee satisfaction. The study explored some specific delinquent in the practices of ergonomics in the banks and suggested for overcoming the challenges as well.
Services of nursing professional play a pivotal role in health organizations to support patients and doctors. The study was exploratory in nature with the view to observe the relationship between motivation and job satisfaction of nursing professional. It tried to unfold the underlying factors and the degree of influence of motivational factors for job satisfaction to achieve the main objective. The study used one hundred and two (102) nurses as samples from Rangpur Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh. It used Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) to reach to a meaningful conclusion. The paper found that the intrinsic factors affect the behavioral actions of the nurses towards job satisfaction. It also revealed that nurses face some significant problems relating to promotion, training, career development, workload etc. Enhancing job satisfaction to improve performance, efficiency, productivity of the nurses’ hospital management authority is urged to look into the motivational factors more closely suggested in the study. The study may assist the policy makers, administrators, and human resources experts to search for new opportunities and policies to encounter job satisfaction for nursing professionals.
