Circular supply chain management (CSCM) is a promising way to achieve economic and environmental sustainability and address the waste problem. However, developing a fully circular supply chain system is costly and time-consuming, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SMEs need to achieve better CSCM by implementing waste management practices. This study aims to (1) critically validate the hierarchical structure of CSCM for SMEs; (2) identify the causal interrelationships among the attributes; and (3) determine the practical attributes for SME improvement in Indonesia. An approach consisting of the fuzzy Delphi method (FDM), best worse method (BWM), and fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (FDEMATEL) is designed to fulfill the objectives of this study. The results show the hierarchical structure in CSCM implementation that benefit SMEs through performance improvement gains. Waste management practices and circular product design are causal aspects; in particular, waste management practices support SMEs in building CSCM as an alternative. The criteria to provide practical insights for CSCM in Indonesia are eco-design, sustainable product design, green technology, waste treatment capability, and designing for the environment.

In communicative language teaching, role play has become one of the most well-known activities among language teachers. In fact, in higher educational context, role play is considered to be a good method to facilitate learners’ oral proficiency. However, the researchers often found some teachers assign too demanding and unclear role play. In fact, some students complained about the implementation of role play at the department. This research aims at revealing students’ responses when having role play as their group assignment in English classes. A descriptive qualitative design was employed to obtain the research objectives, namely how role play was implemented in the eyes of students and what responses they gave to its assignment. To gather the data, an interview was conducted to one male participant and two female participants taking the Literary Appreciation course at one English Department of a private Islamic university in Yogyakarta. Based on the interview, nine stages were implemented in assigning role play. They are announcing the assignment; distributing materials for role play; modelling the role play; grouping; distributing roles; giving time to prepare the play; creating a role play;having the performance; and giving feedback. Also, there were six responses from students towards the assignment namely happy; not bored; shocked; entertained; anxious; and enthusiastic.
This action took place in Potorono Village. The biggest issue that the residents of Potorono face are the large population, although there are still many people who do not work. Essentially, the potential for employment prospects in Potorono Village for the local community is rather considerable, but it is not appealing enough to work for the local people. Meanwhile, the Covid 19 pandemic, which began in March 2020, has caused many village community companies to halt and fail to flourish correctly. Furthermore, Potorono Village residents' knowledge of the value of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) has not been optimal for the development of village residents' companies. Furthermore, the village community has not properly harnessed the natural potential and its supporting job sectors to boost welfare. This service's efforts are in the form of dissemination and support with the proper technology, as well as comprehending BUMDES's duty as a legal body. Furthermore, the utilization of waste processing into finished commodities that can be sold is communicated to the community in order to strengthen the village economy. The Potorono community's approach technique is built on active and interactive involvement, as well as dissemination and support with the deployment of relevant technologies to the community. As a result of this service, the community will understand the benefits of having BUMDES as a legal body in their area, as well as how to use technology to assist rural communities in growing their local economies.
