This study aims to describe the application of YouTube media, the inhibiting and supporting factors, and their impact on students in thematic learning at fourth-grade at State Elementary School (SDN) 35 Prabumulih. This research method is mixed method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires which tested validity and reliability. Qualitative data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Quantitaive data is analyzed in the frequency distribution table. The results showed that the implementation of YouTube media in thematic learning at fourth-grade SDN 35 Prabumulih was carried out through preparation activities, presentation of material, questions and answers about videos that were displayed, and follow-up. The supporting factors are, YouTube easier for students to learn, a strong and stable signal, and the facilities and infrastructure presented by the school. While the inhibiting factors are the internet signal which is sometimes unstable, the availability of facilities and infrastructure is still limited and not functioning properly, and the extravagant of internet data usage. The use of YouTube media in thematic learning has a positive impact on the student learning process because it can offer a varied and fun learning atmosphere, and stipulate a better conceptual understanding related to knowledge (cognitive); remembering, conceiving, and applying.
Penelitian ini membahas tentang Abdul Muis Khattab : Strateginya Dalam Pengembangan Pendidikan Islam di Kenagarian Kapujan Bayang (1951-2000). Permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana riwayat singkat hidup Abdul Muis Khattab, bagaimana strategi Abdul Muis Khattab dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam ditengah-tengah masyarakat, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, gabungan dari penelitian lapangan (field research) dan penelitian historis (historical research) dengan menggunakan metode sejarah, dengan langkah-langkah yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah studi kepustakaan, studi kearsipan dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan riwayat atau perjalanan hidup Abdul Muis Khattab. ia adalah seorang tokoh ulama pendidik yang lahir dan dibesarkan di Kapujan, Kanagarian Koto Berapak, Kecamatan Bayang, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, ia mengajar untuk mengembangkan pendidikan Islam di Kapujan dengan lembaga pendidikan yaitu surau, masjid, dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam (SMPI) yang ia dirikan.
This study aims to test the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of learning media in the form of STEM-based digital pocket books assisted by Appypie on students’ creative thinking skills on triangle material. Research and development (R&D) in this study uses the ADDIE model with 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data collection instruments in this study include student needs questionnaires, interview sheets, expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis techniques used are expert validation data analysis, and student response data analysis. Based on the results of the validation test, an average score of 3.63 from material experts and 3.70 from media experts was obtained (feasible to use). The attractiveness response that has been carried out in small and large class tests obtained an average score of 3.57 (very interesting) and 3.80 (very interesting), respectively. The effectiveness test on the use of learning media developed in this study could not be carried out due to the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic, so this research was limited to the development stage.
