The study aims to investigate the Islamic Social Reporting Disclosure (ISRD) practicesin Sharia Banks of Indonesia and determine the non financial factors that may influence to level of ISRD on 2010 – 2012. The samples in this study are 30 annual reports of sharia banks for three years. Level of ISRD is measured by ISR index that have six categories including investment and finance, corporate governance, product and services, employee, society, and environment. This study identified three non financial factors that influence to level of ISRD such as Media Exposure, main institusional ownership, and Islamic governance score (IG-score). Average ISR disclosure for three years had reached 55%. The test result by multiple linear regression test showed that only Media Exposure and IG-score have a significant to level of ISRD positively. On the other side, main institusional ownership doesn’t have a significant to level of ISRD. In addition, this study found profitability as control variable doesn’t have a significant to level ISRD too.
<p><em>The development of new and renewable energy is currently a top priority for the international community, as energy needs continue to increase while fossil fuels are running low. The Savonius rotor turbine is one of the most widely used turbines but has low efficiency. This study aims to improve the performance of the Savonius turbine by developing a new blade based on airfoil which is simulated in CFD. There are 2 blade models to be simulated, namely the RD-1 model and the RD-2 model, then the simulation results are compared with the conventional blade. The results of the study can be said that the new airfoil-based blade can improve the performance of the Savonius turbine, the increase occurs in the TSR value which is better than the conventional blade. The highest Cp is 0.148 on the RD-2 model blade with a maximum TSR of 0.8</em></p>
The background of this study is the lack of mathematical communication skills (MCS) of junior high school students in Cimahi. This study aims to examine the achievement and improvement of MCS of junior high school students in Cimahi by realistic mathematical approaches. This study involved two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. All groups were given a pretest and posttest. The experimental group obtained mathematics learning with realistic mathematical approaches as treatment and control groups obtained mathematics learning as usual as a treatment. This research method is an experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design, namely the design of the pretest posttest control group that involves two groups and randomly sampled classes. The population in this study were junior high school students in Cimahi, while the sample consisted of two randomly selected classes. Obtained class VIII M (experimental class) and class VIII K control class. The instrument used was a 5-item MCS description test, then the skills scores MCS students' were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using assistance Minitab 17. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the achievement and improvement of students' MCS using mathematical realistic approaches were better than students who used ordinary learning.
Penduduk Kalimantan Selatan memanfaatkan sungai sebagai transportasi dan tempat berlangsungnya banyak kegiatan sehari-hari. mulai dari transportasi, jual-beli dan lain-lain. Pada malam hari aktivitas masyarakat yang menggunakan transportasi sungai hampir tidak ada, karena sepanjang aliran sungai tidak terdapat penerangan untuk mengarahkan rute jalan yang akan dilalui, sehingga masyarakat enggan untuk melakukan aktivitas pada malam hari di sepanjang aliran sungai. Selama ini kalau mereka melakukan aktivitas juga biasanya pada saat langit cerah atau pada saat bulan terang, karena jarak pandang bisa lebih jauh. Sistem pembangkit yang digunakan untuk di hybrid pada penelitian ini adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dengan turbin angin. Sistem ini merupakan salah satu alternatif sistem pembangkit yang tepat diaplikasikan pada daerah-daerah yang sukar dijangkau oleh sistem pembangkit besar seperti jaringan PLN atau Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD).Untuk memperjelas permasalahan yang akan diteliti, maka masalah tersebut dirumuskan sebagai berikut : bagaimana merancang sistem hybrid PLTS dengan turbin angin terapung?, berapa kemampuan apungnya jika diberi beban maksimum dan bagaimana kesetimbangannya?, berapa lama baterai membackup beban pada sistem hybrid?, berapa lama waktu pengisian baterai dengan menggunakan turbin angin?, dab berapa lama waktu pengisian baterai dengan menggunakan PLTS?. Adapun luaran dari penelitian ini diharapkan rancangan sistem hybrid PLTS dengan turbin angin terapung ini nantinya bisa menjadi dasar acuan jika mau membuat model yang sebenarnya untuk di gunakan pada daerah sepanjang aliran sungai pada saat malam hari, sebagai pengembangan mata kuliah mekanika Teknik dan perpindahan panas dan juga laporannya dapat diterbitkan pada Jurnal ilmiah nasional.Dari hasil perhitungan dan Analisa data maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: gaya apung turbin angin hybrid PLTS adalah 572,904 N, Titik berat terletak pada koordinat ( 350 mm , 450 mm ), lama baterai membackup beban pada sistem hybrid adalah 9,64 jam, lama waktu pengisian baterai dengan menggunakan turbin angin 20,41 jam, dan waktu pengisian baterai dengan menggunakan PLTS 6,02 jam.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Glenindo Citra Abadi di Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan sampel sebanyak 97 responden. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan pengujian regresi, korelasi, determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini variabel disiplin diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor sebesar 3,418 dengan kriteria baik. Variabel kinerja karyawan diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor sebesar 3,845 dengan kriteria baik. Disiplin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai persamaan regresi Y = 9,393 + 0,850X, dan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,766 atau memiliki tingkat hubungan yang kuat dengan nilai determinasi 58,7%. Uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.
