Menurut Dahrendorf dimasyarakat terdapat dua sisi, yakni konflik dan consensus, sehingga konflik adalah hal yang lumrah terjadi di masyarakat akibat dari hubungan psikologis dengan hubungan antagonis yang memiliki tujuan yang berbeda dan akhirnya tidak dapat menjadi satu karena perbedaan pendapat tersebut. Konflik yang terjadi di Mangir Lor adalah konflik antar umat beragama yakni  antara umat Hindu Paguyuban Padma Buana dan Umat Islam Dusun Mangir Lor yang terjadi pada tahun 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap permasalahan terjadinya konflik di Mangir di mana setiap narasumber memiliki cerita versi yang berbeda tentang konflik ini. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi Pustaka. Analisa data yang peneliti lakukan meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi (kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian ini menjawab bahwa konflik yang terjadi di Mangir Lor pada tahun 2019 karena adanya miskomunikasi antara ibu Utiek Suprapti dengan masyarakat Mangir Lor. Masyarakat beranggapan ritual piodalan yang diselenggarakan oleh Ibu Utiek adalah sesat, karena para tamu yang diundang ibu Utiek beragam agama, seperti: Hindu, Budha, Nasrani, Islam, dan aliran kepercayaan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian, penyebab konflik di Mangir Lor  yang paling mencolok adalah karena kurangnya komunikasi dari Ibu Utiek dengan masyarakat yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan  konflik.    According to Dahrendorf in society there are two sides, namely conflict and consensus, so thatk onflik is a common thing that occurs in society due to psychological relationships with antagonistic relationships that have different goals and ultimately cannot become one because of these differences of opinion. The conflict that occurred in Mangir Lor was a conflict between religious people, namely between hindus of Padma Buana Community and Muslims of Mangir Lor Hamlet which occurred in 2019. The purpose of this study is to uncover the problem of conflict in Mangir where each source has a different version of the story about this conflict. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method of analysis. Data collection by means of field observations, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis that the researcher conducts includes: data reduction, data presentation, and verification (conclusion). The results of this study answer that the conflict that occurred in Mangir Lor in 2019 was due to a miscommunication between Utiek Suprapti's mother and the Mangir Lor community. People think that the piodalan ritual  organized by Mrs. Utiek is heretical, because the guests invited by Mrs. Utiek are of various religions, such as: Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and religious traditions.  In conclusion from the researcher, the cause of the conflict in Mangir Lor was because of thenon-establishment of the openness of the communityi kasi from Mrs. Utiek with the community finally a conflict arose.
