Paper ini bertujuan untuk melakukan penelahaan lebih lanjut mengenai peluang dan tantangan revolusi industri 4.0 dalam manajemen kesiapsiagaan bencana. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menganalisis artikel yang didapatkan dari Google Scholar dengan kata kunci revolusi industri 4.0 dan kesiapsiagaan bencana. Hasil analisis terhadap dokumen terkait revolusi industri 4.0 didapati bahwa teknologi cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data, dan internet of things berguna dalam mengumpulkan data, pemetaan, dan desain informasi risiko bencana secara real time dan up to date. Kondisi tersebut membuat manajemen penanggulangan bencana menjadi semakin efektif dan efisien karena data-data dihadirkan secara akurat sehingga meminimalisir kekeliruan atau distorsi data. Tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi dalam integrasi teknologi revolusi industri 4.0 dan manajemen kesiapsiagaan bencana turut dibahas.

One of the main factors affecting high maritime logistic cost in Indonesia is unbalanced trade between west and east region of Indonesia. Particularly, shipment between two regions were rarely transported using full capacity in both directions. Moreover in many occasion, shipments were carried empty. Therefore, cost of both direction shipment was increased twice or more than normal shipment. Indonesia government has proposed Pendulum Nusantara that guarantees fixed schedule between two regions to cut the logistic cost. This paper generates Indonesia maritime logistic networks using Pendulum Nusantara and enhances it to further bring the cost down and increase profit. The improvements were achieved using combinations of routes that have not considered in Pendulum Nusantara route networks. The problem was modeled as a mixed integer program and a commercial solver was used to generate the solutions. Optimization results show higher profits can be obtained in an acceptable computation time. 

This study is literature study with descriptive qualitative research with library research. This research is intended to explain the existence of science in the industrial revolution era 4.0. In this literature study, the author uses various written sources such as book, journal, and documents that are relevant to the study in this study. This study focuses on science and its existence in the industrial revolution era. The study results show that the existence of science at this time is still very much needed and has increased significantly. This is because the development of technology based on science has spread and entered the joints of aspects of human life.. Keywords : Industrial Revolution 4.0, Science, Technology.
