Kemampuan komunikasi verbal memiliki fungsi menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif dalam bidang pemasaran. Berdasarkan penelitian awal, ditemukan fenomena kemampuan komunikasi verbal siswa yang rendah misalnya siswa sulit mengungkapkan pendapat dalam bentuk verbal dan tidak mampu menyalurkan idenya yang dimiliki sehingga kemampuan komunikasi verbalnya dirasa masih kurang. Sedangkan bidang pemasaran atau marketing dituntut untuk memasarkan produk yang ia miliki dan menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan klien. Teknik brainstorming adalah teknik yang dapat membantu siswa atau peserta didik dalam mengasah kemampuan khususnya kretifitas dalam mengolah kata atau kosakata dalam penyampaian pendapat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dan konseling (PTBK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampun berkomunikasi verbal dengan metode brainstorming. Adapun responden yang terlibat 10 siswa dari 37 siswa yang diambil secara purposive sampling dengan kreteria siswa yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi verbal rendah. Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi verbal melalui metode brainstorming. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi dan, angket. Sedangkan tekhnik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi verbal siswa melalui metode brainstorming skor pada pra-tindakan 45,2 pada siklus I pertemuan pertama rata-rata skor 50,9 pada pertemuan kedua rata-rata skor 58,2 dan pada siklus II pasca-tindakan terdapat peningkatan pada pertemuan pertama dengan rata-rata skor 72,3 dan pada pertemuan kedua rata-rata skor 77,4 kategori tinggi pada pasca-tindakan.________________________________________________________________Verbal communication skills have possible communication functions in the field of marketing. While the technical data analysis using qualitative descriptive. The results showed that there was an improvement in students' verbal communication skills through the brainstorming method score at pre-action of 45.2 in the first meeting cycle averaging a score of 50.9 at the second meeting averaging a score of 58.2 and in cycle II post-action there was an increase in the first meeting with an average score of 72.3 and in the second meeting an average score of 77.4 in the post-action.
