The increasing volume and activities of motor vehicles caused to increase gasoline consumption and air pollutants such as lead (Pb). In an ambient environment, lead will be deposited in the soil and absorbed by plants. This study was conducted to assess lead content in soil and plantespecially at the rice field at Lamongan, that caused by motor vehicles activities. Activities of motor vehicles along main roads were identified as well as assessing of the lead emission.
The talent scouting process is fundamental in improving the performance of bicycle athletes. The selection process still focuses on prospective athletes' nutritional and fitness factors. The Indonesian Bicycle Sports Association of Banda Aceh City selects prospective bicycle sports athletes from an early age (adolescence) to be fostered in sustainability. The study measures the correlation between nutritional status (BMI) and fitness (standing board jump, vertical jump, and 30-meter sprint) in prospective bicycle sports athletes. The research design is Cross-sectional and has been carried out at the Indonesian Bicycle Sports Association (ISSI) Banda Aceh City 2021. Subjects of as many as 180 prospective athletes were taken by purposive random. Measuring nutritional status was measured by assessing BMI, while fitness was measured by standing board jump, vertical jump, and 30-meter sprint. Statistical analysis using Linear Regression test at CI: 95%. The results showed that there was a correlation between BMI and standing board jump (p= 0,000), BMI with a vertical jump (p= 0,004), and BMI with a 30-meter sprint (p = 0.000) in prospective bicycle athletes in Banda Aceh City. In conclusion, nutritional status (BMI) correlates with fitness (standing board jump, vertical jump and 30-meter sprint) in prospective bicycle athletes in Banda Aceh City.
Background: Lung tumor is still being the most common tumors in the world. Lung tumor is defined as the abnormal growth of lumps in lung tissue that might be benign or malignant. CT scan is one of the most appropriate modality to diagnose the supposition of lung tumors and evaluating the tumor itself. The purpose of this study is to identify the CT scan images of patients with a lung tumor. Method: The study was conducted by a retrospective descriptive design. In this study, sampling was performed at Radiology Department, Zinoel Abidin General Hospital, from July 2018 to October 2018. Data were obtained from the thorax CT scan examination request forms and questionnaire of respondent characteristics. There were 66 cases of lung tumors that met the Latar Belakang: Tumor paru masih menjadi penyebab utama keganasan di dunia. Tumor paru merupakan pertumbuhan abnormal benjolan pada jaringan paru yang dapat bersifat jinak ataupun ganas. CT scan merupakan salah satu modalitas yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi dan mendiagnosis kecurigaan tumor paru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran profil hasil pemeriksaan CT scan pasien tumor paru. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptif retrospektif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di Bagian Radiologi RSUD Dr. Zainoel Abidin periode Juli 2018-Oktober 2018. Data diperoleh dari hasil ekspertisi CT scan toraks dan kuisioner karakteristik responden. Aceh Health Insurance (Jaminan Kesehatan Aceh—JKA) has been implemented since 2010 to increase the health equity by covering the health expenses and guaranteeing that all Acehnese are covered regardless of their economic, educational, and social statuses. However, since its implementation, there has been no study on its impact on health quality, particularly regarding the utilization of the main referral hospital (Dr Zainoel Abidin Hospital located in Banda Aceh) and the effects of the geographic accessibility and the number of specialist doctors in each regency/city on hospital utilization. This retrospective study assessed the equity factors during the Aceh Health Insurance implementation and during its integration to National Health Insurance (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional—JKN) from 2013 to 2021 using data of travel time (time spent for travelling from the origin regency/city of referred patients to the main referral center) and healthcare resources (number of specialist doctors). The data were analyzed using Student’s t-tests, Kolmogorov-Smirnov or Mann-Whitney U test when appropriate. Williamson Index was calculated to determine the disparities of health equity between regencies. Our data indicated the noticeably increase of health facilities utilization since the implantation of Aceh Health Insurance. However, there was no equity in the use of main referral facility by the residents in Aceh - was dominated by residents who lived closer and from more populated regencies/cities. In conclusion, there are accessibility and financial hardship barriers in accessing the health care facilities during the implementation of Aceh Health Insurance that need to be addressed by the government to achieve the health equity for all Acehnese.
Absrtak. Bawang merah merupakan salah satu komoditi hortikultura tergolong sayur rempah yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor. Faktor yang diteliti terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu ukuran umbi dan jenis pupuk organik. Faktor pertama ukuran umbi yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu umbi kecil, umbi sedang dan umbi besar, sedangkan faktor kedua jenis pupuk organik yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu kontrol, pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang sapi dan pupuk kompos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran umbi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun pada umur 1, 2, 3, 4 MST, dan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah anakan per rumpun pada umur 1, 2, 3, 4 MST, jumlah umbi per rumpun, diameter umbi, bobot basah umbi per tanaman sampel, jumlah umbi per plot netto dan berat basah umbi per plot netto. Sedangkan jenis pupuk organik tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 1, 2, 3, 4 MST, jumlah daun pada umur 1, 2, 3, 4 MST, jumlah anakan per rumpun pada umur 1, 2, 3, 4 MST, jumlah umbi per rumpun, diameter umbi, bobot basah umbi per tanaman sampel, jumlah umbi per plot netto dan berat basah umbi per plot netto. Tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara ukuran umbi dan jenis pupuk organik terhadap semua peubah pengamatan.
