Product quality is a very important element in marketing, especially in the aim of generating positive word-of-mouth communication. The number of businesses in the culinary field has resulted in rampant competition, entrepreneurs in the culinary field compete with each other to benefit both local and foreign entrepreneurs because at this time many culinary businesses in Indonesia are owned and run by foreigners. Circumstances like the above are a challenge for local culinary entrepreneurs so they don't lose competitiveness and lose consumers, therefore local entrepreneurs must make new innovations so they don't lose consumers. This research on the effect of product quality on word-of-mouth was conducted to determine whether the quality of products sold at Kedai Wak Edoy Malang can directly move word-of-mouth and whether product quality has an effect on making consumers recommend each other to buy at Kedai Wak Edoy Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire/questionnaire technique, the analytical tool used is multiple linear regression with t test and f test. The case study in this research is that Kedai Wak Edoy Malang can directly move word-of-mouth and whether product quality has an effect. In addition, data collection was carried out on consumers of Kedai Wak Edoy Malang. Where for the taste variable has a t count (4.416) > t table (1.987) and a significant value (0.000) < 0.05. for the Hygienic Product variable has a t count (2.406) > t table (1.987) and a significant value (0.018) < 0.05. for Variation Product variable has t count (2.198) > t table (1.987) and significant value (0.031) < 0.05. for the size variable, it has t count (2.413) > t table (1.987) and significant value (0.018) < 0.05. for the variable Size has t count (2.247) > t table (1.987) and significant value (0.027) < 0.05. The results of the t test also show that the most dominant variable influencing the emergence of positive WOM communication is the taste variable with a regression coefficient (beta) of 0.376.
Compared to traditional methods, the Internet as a means of communication offers several advantages such as constant availability of information, efficient transfer of information and interactivity. In the context of the culinary business, the contribution of customers who want to spread positive information about restaurants is certainly very large. According to the literature, it was also conveyed that consumers believed in previous consumer experiences more than the advertisements delivered by the company. This study wants to examine the role of positive experience variables, perceived quality and trust in the eWOM behavior of restaurant customers in Labuhanbatu. The study used a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Questionnaires were distributed via google form to respondents. Respondents in this study were restaurant customers in Labuhanbatu who had carried out eWOM activities to the people around them. This study uses the SEM analysis method with the help of SMART PLS 3 software. The results of this study indicate that all predictive variables analyzed have a positive and significant influence on positive eWOM behavior in the context of a restaurant in Labuhanbatu.
The financial services industry is witnessing massive structural changes due to various technological innovations. The ubiquitous innovation known as Financial Technology (Fintech) is changing traditional banking and corporate finance. The use of Fintech has now become widespread and has changed people's financial patterns. Fintech provides various conveniences in various activities related to payments, money transfers, and even the management of savings itself, even the use of Fintech currently plays a significant role in the progress of small and medium enterprises. In various big cities in Indonesia, small community-owned businesses are familiar with using Fintech as payment. However, based on the observations of researchers, it is known that in Labuhanbatu, the use of Fintech is still infrequent. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors which affect the intention to use Fintech in Labuhanbatu. This study uses a quantitative approach and data analysis using the Smart PLS3 software. The sample in this study was students in Labuhanbatu. This study uses the PLS technique which is a variance-based SEM which is suitable for this study due to the sample size and complexity of the hypothesis. From the study's results, it was found that all predictive variables had a positive and significant influence on the intention to use Fintech by Labuhanbatu students.
Adventure tourism has received significant attention recently because it offers unique sensations. Managers of adventure tourism objects need to understand the determinants of satisfaction in adventure tourism. This study aims to examine the effect of intrinsic motivation and flow theory on extreme and non-extreme adventure tourists’ satisfaction in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample includes 405 tourists engaged in adventure tourism activities (extreme adventure tourism activities – 200 respondents, and non-extreme adventure tourism activities – 205 respondents). Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) was used to analyze the data. The results show that autonomy and competence influence flow experience (p-value &lt; 0.05). This applies to extreme adventure and non-extreme adventure tourism. Furthermore, flow experience has a positive effect on adventure tourist satisfaction. In the context of extreme adventure tourism, autonomy does not affect the satisfaction of extreme adventure tourists (path coefficients = 0.025 and p-value = 0.761). In the context of non-extreme adventure tourism, competence does not affect the satisfaction of non-extreme adventure tourists (path coefficients = –0.036 and p-value = 0.682). This study recommends that managers of non-extreme tourism spots add challenging aspects to tour packages because they are believed to increase tourist satisfaction.
Pada Maret 2020, seperti halnya perguruan tinggi di seluruh dunia, perguruan tinggi di Indonesia kewalahan menghadapi dampak masif dari pandemi COVID-19 yang berdampak pada sektor vital (misalnya, sektor pendidikan dan ekonomi). Akibatnya, perguruan tinggi di Indonesia memilih untuk mengadopsi sistem pembelajaran online untuk melanjutkan proses pendidikan. Yang menjadi masalah adalah penerapan sistem pembelajaran online terjadi secara tiba-tiba. Akibatnya mendapat reaksi beragam baik dari dosen maupun mahasiswa. Beberapa mahasiswa tidak yakin akan manfaatnya atau tidak memenuhi syarat untuk mengatasi penerapan sistem pembelajaran online. Oleh karena itu, proses pembelajaran mengalami hambatan seperti hambatan dalam kemampuan mereka untuk menggunakan dan mengadopsi sistem pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan sistem pembelajaran online oleh mahasiswa di Indonesia Penerapan teknologi yang sukses akan memberikan peluang bagi universitas contohnya bisa mengadakan kelas campuran daring dan luring, system penyampaian materi melalui media social sehingga mahasiswa dapat belajar sebelum masuk ke ruang kelas dan sebagainya. Metode analisis yang digunakan disesuaikan berdasarkan tujuan penelitian yang ada, penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan paradigma positivistik yang mengutamakan kausalitas antar variabel (Neuman, 2014). Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian eksplanatori yang dapat menjelaskan buntuk menguji suatu teori untuk memperkuat atau menolak hipotesis penelitian. Dengan demikian, explanatory sangat tepat untuk penelitian ini sesuai tujuan penelitian, data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online melalui aplikasi Google form. Untuk menguji kerangka konseptual dan hipotesis yang dikembangkan, peneliti menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi bagi literatur ilmiah di bidang pendidikan terutama literatur terkait adopsi penggunaan teknologi di negara berkembang. Secara praktis penelitian ini memberikan masukan kepada universitas tentang factor-faktor dominan yang dapat mempengaruhi kesuksesan adopsi teknologi dalam system pembelajaran.
