We give a simple proof for the reciprocity formulas of character Dedekind sums associated with two primitive characters, whose modulus need not to be the same, by utilizing the character analogue of the Euler-MacLaurin summation formula. Moreover, we extend known results on the integral of products of Bernoulli polynomials by considering the integralwhere b l (b l = 0) and y l (1 ≤ l ≤ r) are real numbers. As a consequence of this integral we establish a connection between the reciprocity relations of sums of products of Bernoulli polynomials and of the Dedekind sums.
In the paper, the authors establish closed forms for the Delannoy two-functional sequence and its difference in terms of the Hessenberg determinants, derive recursive relations for the Delannoy two-functional sequence and its difference, and deduce closed forms in terms of the Hessenberg determinants and recursive relations for the Delannoy one-functional sequence, the Delannoy numbers, and central Delannoy numbers.
In this paper we establish plenty of number theoretic and combinatoric identities involving generalized Bernoulli and Stirling numbers of both kinds. These formulas are deduced from Pascal type matrix representations of Bernoulli and Stirling numbers. For this we define and factorize a modified Pascal matrix corresponding to Bernoulli and Stirling cases.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
