On March 13, other new cases of 35 people who were confirmed positive for Covid-19 were reported. Since then, the number of positive cases has continued to increase every day, with the total daily cases ranging from 200 to 400 new cases. Abstract:This research attempted to: find out how the student worksheet development with a contextual approach; to find out the result of the student worksheet development with a contextual approach meets valid and practical categories. The research methodology utilized Research and Development that focused on developing student worksheets with a contextual approach. This development applied Borg and Gall design model. The developing worksheet materials were rectangles and triangles. The obtained data comes from the validation results by four validators, students' responses, and a literature review. The research site is in one of the SMP Negeri in the city of Palopo. The validation result of student worksheets with a contextual approach was: (1) the material expert score is 90% is in a very valid category, (2) the media expert score is 85% is in a very valid category, (3) design expert score is 83% is in a very valid category. Student worksheets with a contextual approach are also in a very practical category at 87%. Abstrak:Penelitian ini tentang pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dengan pendekatan kontekstual yang memenuhi kategori valid dan praktis. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan desain Borg and Gall. Materi LKS yang dikembangkan adalah segi empat dan segitiga. Data diperoleh dari hasil validasi empat validator, respon siswa, dan studi pustaka. Lokasi penelitian berada di salah satu SMP Negeri di kota Palopo. Hasil validasi LKS menunjukkan: (1) ahli materi dengan skor 90% berada pada kategori sangat valid, (2) ahli media dengan skor 85% berada pada kategori sangat valid, (3) desain ahli dengan skor 83% berada pada kategori sangat valid. LKS dengan pendekatan kontekstual juga berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan skor 87%.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan video animasi serta mengetahui kelebihan dan kekuragan penggunaan video animasi dalam pembelajaran online di masa pandemi pada siswa kelas III SDN 12 Langkanae. Subjek dan objek kajian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 12 Langkanae. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, adapun sumber data yang diperoleh dari guru dan siswa serta data-data sarana-prasarana sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi dalam pembelajaran online mata pelajaran tematik, pjok dan agama menggunakan aplikasi whatsapp. Adapun pembelajaran online menggunakan video animasi guru mengambil video langsung dari youtube. Tahap-tahap pelaksanaan penggunaan video animasi dalam pembelajaran online yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran dengan mempersiapkan RPP, persiapan video animasi guru mendownload video dari youtube, sedangkan proses pembelajaran mempunyai tahap pendahuluan, pertengahan atau inti dan penutup. Kelebihan dari penggunaan video animasi pada pembelajaran online yaitu memudahkan pemhaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar dan meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Kekurangan penggunaan video animasi yaitu jaringan yang tidak stabil dan memerlukan penyimpanan atau memori yang cukup besar.
The advancement of communication and information technology has dramatically influenced both positive and negative influences, especially on children. Therefore, parents must educate their children well, not negatively, to influence the advancement of communication and information technology. Thus, as primary educators, parents must understand how to provide their children with the best education. The best education is to instil religious values in children from an early age, so the first and foremost thing to give this education is parents at home by setting a good example so that they can stick in the child's heart throughout his life.
Abstract:Mathematical literacy skills and mathematical logical intelligence are essential things that students must have to be able to use mathematics in everyday life. This study aims to identify mathematical literacy skills from the perspective of logical-mathematical intelligence of junior high school students in Towuti, East Luwu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques for mathematical logical intelligence tests and tests of mathematical literacy skills and interview guidelines. The indicators used adopt indicators developed by Stecey and Turner. The research subjects used were three categories of students from class VIII room 2 who had high, medium, and low mathematical logical intelligence. The results showed that students with high mathematical logical intelligence were able to identify all indicators of mathematical literacy ability so that they had high mathematical literacy skills. It is different for students with moderate and low logical intelligence, who have low and high literacy abilities. The results of this identification are still possible to continue by an analytical study. Abstrak:Kemampuan literasi matematika dan kecerdasan logis matematis merupakan hal yang penting dimiliki siswa agar mampu menggunakan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kemampuan literasi matematika ditinjau dari perspektif kecerdasan logis matematis siswa tingkat SMP di Towuti Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen tes kecerdasan logis matematis, tes kemampuan literasi matematika, dan pedoman wawancara. Indikator yang digunakan mengadopsi teori Stecey dan Turner. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dari kelas VIII ruangan 2 dengan kecerdasan logis matematis tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematis tinggi mampu mengidentifikasi semua indikator kemampuan literasi matematika dengan baik dan memiliki kemampuan literasi matematika tinggi. Hal berbeda untuk siswa dengan kecerdasan logis sedang dan rendah. Hasil identifikasi ini masih memungkinkan untuk ditindaklanjuti dengan suatu penelitian yang bersifat analisis.
