Indonesia faces the biggest challenge in education. Various problems have arisen including teachers not yet utilizing technology optimally in learning. Teachers in schools still maintain conventional learning. Actions to motivate teachers are needed so that integrated learning of information technology can be implemented well. This is in accordance with the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 in the learning process where teachers and students together make innovations including the use of information technology-based learning media. To find out how deep the teacher's understanding of the preparation of information technology-based learning media in the revolution era 4.0, analysis in the form of quantitative data presented descriptively is needed.
STEM is one of the approaches in learning that involves several disciplines in studying a learning material. Through the STEM approach, students are required to be active in processing knowledge so as to achieve learning objectives optimally. Contextual science learning will be more meaningful if it has a close relationship with the surrounding context. This research develops integrated science teaching materials with the Ethno-STEM Approach through ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) methods. The research in this paper describes one phase of the ADDIE development method, namely the Analysis phase. An online questionnaire was given to 52 secondary school students to find out the need for integrated science teaching materials with the Ethno-STEM Approach based on the perspective of students as users.
The 21st-century learning requires teachers to develop the abilities of students and change the learning system from teacher-centered to student-centered. In fact, the learning process still uses conventional and teacher-centered methods, so that student learning outcomes are low. For this reason, the BLM (Blended Learning Model) is applied to improve student learning outcomes in physics subjects. This study aims to determine the effect of similar studies using the BLM on students’ achievement. The type of research used is meta-analysis research with a quantitative approach. The results of this study are the first, namely the influence of similar studies from the BLM which shows that BLM has a significant influence on student achievement. Second, based on grade level, the effect of similar studies from the BLM shows that grade XI has a more significant impact. Third, based on the learning material, the effect of similar studies from the BLM shows that the optical topic has a significant impact. Fourth, based on learning media that has a more significant impact than similar studies, namely the schoology application. This research can be used as a reference for developing BLM on different materials, school levels, and various interactive media
Maternal mortality in Indonesia is still quite high, one reason is postpartum hemorrhage. Efforts to prevent postpartum hemorrhage can be done with the administration of oxytocin. The hormone oxytocin plays a role in the process of return of the uterus to its original shape. Oxytocin is also working spur spending reflex ASI Let Down Reflex (LDR). To examine the effectiveness of massage to stimulate the hormone oxytocin in the mother postpartum primipara This quasi-experimental research designs, sampling techniques with simple random sampling of 60 people, 30 people in treatment group and 30 controls. The research instrument that is the observation sheet. The massage is done every day, from day 1 to day 14 post partum. TFU measurement observations, kind lochea, weight baby day 1, 4, 7, 10, 14. Statistical test with Mann Whitney. Massage to stimulate the oxytocin hormone has a high effectiveness against changes in the uterine fundus on the day 7 and 10 of 0.023 and 0.0001 (p <0.05), to change the type of lochea on the day 4, 7, 10, 14 amounted to 0.015, 0.001, 0.000, 0.000 (p <0.05), the production of breast milk in the day 7 and 10 of 0.000, 0.031 (p <0.05) Massage to stimulate the oxytocin hormone has a high effectiveness against changes in the
The context of this research begins from learning that is still centered on teachers and students who are still difficult to solve high-level problems that can d evelop 21st century skills. One of the solution to researchers can help students in mastering the skills is using learning media the form of student worksheet based on problem solving. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of applying student worksheet based on problem solving for student’s critical thinking skills in kinetic theory of gases and thermodynamics. This type of research is quasi experimental research and use posttest only control design. This research involved two sample classes, namely experimental class and control class, with different learning patterns and student worksheets. The research tool is the final test of the essay questions. The assessment is based on indicators of critical thinking skills and descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the data analysis completed, student’s' critical thinking skills improved after applying student worksheet based on problem solving during their learning. The data analysis results show that the value of tcount>ttable (3.78>2.00) indicates that there is a difference at a significance level of 0.05, with dk=n1+n2-1 as degrees of freedom. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of student worksheet based on problem solving affects student’s acquisition of critical thinking skills in kinetic theory of gases and thermodynamics
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
