The aim of the study was to obtain physiological, biochemical and zootechnical data confirming the effective use of the antioxidant dihydroethoxychine to increase productivity in laying hens. The experiment was carried out on 2 groups of laying hens of the breeding herd, selected by 100 heads by random sampling. For 41 days, the chickens of the experimental group received a basic diet with the addition of dihydroethoxychine (DGE) in the amount of 100 mg/kg of feed. On the 25th day of the experiment, blood samples (n=5) were taken for biochemical studies. In the experimental group, the concentration of cholesterol in the fraction of high-density lipoproteins increased twofold (P<0.01) and in the fraction of low-density lipoproteins decreased by almost 50% (P<0.01) against the control. The concentration of MDA in the blood of chickens in the experimental group was 82.00% relative to that in the control, and in the yolk of the egg - only 37.42 %. Egg production of chickens in the experimental group was higher than in the control by 7.3% (P<0.1). Hatchability of chickens in the experimental group increased by 14.6% (P<0.01) relative to control. It was concluded that the tested water-soluble antioxidant has a positive effect on the biological functions and productive parameters of laying hens.
The use of probiotics and enzyme preparations in poultry diets to intensify digestive metabolism in the body is a very pressing problem. The aim of the research was to study the effect of enzyme preparations of protosubtilin GZh and celloviridineG20h, as well as the probiotics of bifidumbacterin on the processes of digestive metabolism in growing birds and laying hens. In the course of the studies, it was found that the joint supplementation of the probiotic BifidumSKhZh at the rate of 5 g per 200 heads, enzyme preparations of protosubtilin GZh at the rate of 300 g/t and celloviridineG20h at the rate of 100 g/t of the feed allowed the growing birds and laying hens of the 4th experimental group significantly (P>0.95) exceed their control analogues in the proteolytic, cellulosolytic and amylolytic activity of the contents of the gizzard stomach and duodenum, in digestibility of crude protein, crude fiber, and nitrogen-free extracts (NFE) of the diets, as well as the level of protein digestibility of forages.
On the experimental field an experiment was laid to study the productivity of two types of winter vetch: Hungarian vetch (Vicia pannonica Granz) varieties Orlan and Chernomorskaya and downy vetch (Vicia villosa op Roth) varieties Lugovskaya 2 and Glinkovskaya. The vetch was sown in a mixture with winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety Tanya. Various doses of mineral fertilizers. Phosphorus (superphosphate) and potassium (potassium chloride) were introduced during sowing, nitrogen (calcium nitrate) – as early spring feeding. As a control, we studied the variety of furry vetch Lugovskaya 2, since this is the most popular variety of winter vetch in the Krasnodar Territory. The soils of the experimental plots are represented by leached, low-humus heavy loamy powerful chernozem. Due to the limited feed intake, the diets of high-yielding cows are rich in highly digestible non-structural carbohydrates (ADF), which fermentation leads to the formation of a large amount of propionic acid in the rumen with a strong acidic effect and, conversely, NDF fermentation is slower and on a smaller scale. The variant winter wheat Tanya + winter vetch Lugovskaya 2 - is closer to the optimum in the second cut. The rest of the experimental options of vetchwheat and vetch-triticale grass mixtures also have a negative fiber balance, which is not acceptable for feeding high-producing dairy cattle.
