In Ukraine, an anti-terrorist operation, carried out on a significant territory of the country (about 20 percent) has been going on for eight years. All this time, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians stay in stressful conditions. Changes occur in cognitive, behavioral, value-motivational, emotional and other spheres of these people personality. One of the risk groups is middle-aged people, because the key tasks for this stage of a person's life become difficult to implement. In women, the emotional component of this process is more intense than in men, which becomes an additional stress factor in this situation. There are studies on the emotional component in interpersonal relationships in these women, their tendency to affect, the consequences of receiving traumatic experience, impulsiveness, etc. However, the number of studies on the peculiarities of basic emotions manifestation, level indicators of anxiety, aggressiveness and other components of the emotional sphere remains insignificant, which would make it possible to develop appropriate psychocorrective programs. The purpose of the study was to identify the features of emotional sphere in middle-aged women who have been in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) for a long time. Research methods – a technique for measuring the level of anxiety (J. Taylor), a scale of differential emotions (K. Izard), a technique for detecting the level of aggressiveness (Bassa-Darky). Mathematical and statistical processing - φ-criterion Fisher's angular transformation. The subjects were 40 middle-aged women employed with higher education. They are divided into two groups of 20: according to the criterion, they were in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) for a long time and had never been in the specified territory. Conclusions: for the emotional sphere of middle-aged women who have been for a long time (at least 5 years) in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO), the phenomena of "level decrease of emotions of the positive spectrum" and "level increase of aggressiveness" and a high general level of anxiety are characteristic. In the anxiety-depressive spectrum of the emotional sphere, guilt becomes the dominant emotion. There is a tendency to increase more open forms of aggressiveness, but the manifestation of anger, on the contrary, is becoming more moderate.
Purpose of the article: to identify and compare career orientations and professional responsibility peculiarities in women with different sexual orientations to determine whether members of sexual minorities (SM) in Ukraine are less adapted to professional activity than members of the heterosexual majority. The study involved 162 Ukrainian women aged 16-46, including 36 lesbians, 76 bisexuals and 50 heterosexual women. The study had a cross-sectional design. It was used Career Orientations Inventory of E. Schein and standardized interview "Components of responsibility" of V. Ye. Kupchenko. It was found that bisexual women significantly less than women of other sexual orientations choose such career paths as General management, Pure challenge, Life Style and Entrepreneurial Creativity, which may be related to the general ambivalence of their life, which is set by their sexual orientation. Such career orientations may require self-confidence, a clarity of self-identity, which women with fluctuating sexual orientations may lack. A distinctive feature of lesbians was their greater understanding of the responsibility concept, which can be explained by the lack of an opportunity in their life to assign professional responsibility to a man, which corresponds to the traditional gender roles distribution. In general, it cannot be said that female SM representatives are significantly worse adapted to professional life than heterosexual women. The group of bisexual women can be considered as the most vulnerable.
The article presents the results of a study of the quality of education in conditions of forced distance learning in the initial conditions of the introduction of quarantine restrictions caused by COVID-19. The study was conducted in two stages to identify the quality of education in conditions of forced distance learning for teachers and students from 03.30.2020 to 04.04.2020. The study involved teachers in the amount of 42 people. To study the perception of the image of students by teachers in the framework of forced distance and classroom learning, a questionnaire was developed that covers various aspects of student activity under quarantine restrictions. The survey involved 326 students from different faculties. Students were asked to answer questions regarding their assessment of the educational process in conditions of forced distance learning. This helped to determine some aspects of the quality of education in the conditions of forced distance learning. The results showed that the quality of education in the opinion of teachers after the transition to forced distance learning gives reason to talk about the emergence of perceptual-cognitive dissonance among teachers, because the information that they receive in the process of communicating with students online does not meet their own expectations in many ways perception, imagination, analysis (due to the minimum of information during communication), which is about the typical direct process of interaction with students, their personal experience regarding this interaction. Thus, for students of all courses, the quality of education is associated with both personal and professional growth. Our study showed that, despite the fact that students are aware of the need to form personal qualities, they do not fully understand what these qualities are and in what ways they need to be developed.
