Today life become easy and simple because of technology. Internet become the key for enables remote anything from anywhere. One of this application is smarthome system. Smarthome system able to control electric and electronic equipment from remote. This system can control electric and electronic equipment such as television, air conditioner, microwave, lamps, fan, etc using smartphone from the Internet. Power off and on all devices can be done remotely. Steps in design of smarthome systems are using waterfall methods that is problem identification and data collection in the planning process, requirement analysis, hardware and software integration design, application design, and testing. This system build using Arduino uno microcontroller, android smartphone, relay module, web server and ethernet module.
Broadband Wireless Access is new standard of Wireless LAN (WLAN) developed by IEEE which standard is 108.16.The significance of BWA is wide area coverage, more users and without Line of Sight in some situation. This research is using literature study and observation, design and build WLAN network using BWA Wimax. The goal is build wireless network between two offices separate by remote area until fifty kilometres. Summary of this research is two location can be connected using WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). ABSTRAK Broadband Wireless Access merupakan standar Wireless LAN (WLAN) yang dikembangkan IEEE dengan nomor 108.16. Keunggulan BWA adalah jangkauan yang cukup jauh, jumlah pengguna yang lebih banyak dan tanpa Line of Sight dalam situasi tertentu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Studi Pustaka, dan metode observasi, serta merancang dan membangun jaringan WLAN dengan BWA Wimax. Tujuan yang dicapai adalah membangun jaringan nirkabel antara dua kantor yang dipisahkan oleh jarak yang cukup jauh hingga mencapai limapuluh kilometer.Simpulan hasil penelitian adalah bahwa kantor yang terpisah bisa dihubungkan menggunakan WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access (BWA).

Some roles of server are file server, database server, print server, directory server, and web server. Performance of the server must be monitor. Censor is a device that can transform a value from one form to another form. The data for Server temperature monitoring system collected using DS1621 censor. Steps in design of server temperature monitoring systems are using waterfall methods that is problem identification and data collection in the planning process, requirement analysis, hardware and software integration design, database design, menu design, STD, coding with flowchart, testing, summary and maintenance. Censor in the server temperature monitoring will send temperature data using sms gateway to the administrator. Administrator will be informed as soon as possible if the server having upper limit temperature and can act immediately to resolve the problems.
The server is a computer network that served as a servant. The server managing data traffic in a network and provide a resource that can be used by other computers connected in a network. Application monitoring system integrated with censor and using ping access points work as expected for censor continuously send server information. SMS gateway that can be attached to respond quickly in case of a problem on the server computer and the temperature exceed the limit or power supply status has changed so that an administrator can perform right action as fast as possible based on information provided. Server working continuously, with stable environment and without any interruption. It takes a special attention to maintain and monitoring so server will provide uninterrupted service. This application will play an important role to monitor servers that work continuously and assist Administrator and Operator Data Center.
