Today life become easy and simple because of technology. Internet become the key for enables remote anything from anywhere. One of this application is smarthome system. Smarthome system able to control electric and electronic equipment from remote. This system can control electric and electronic equipment such as television, air conditioner, microwave, lamps, fan, etc using smartphone from the Internet. Power off and on all devices can be done remotely. Steps in design of smarthome systems are using waterfall methods that is problem identification and data collection in the planning process, requirement analysis, hardware and software integration design, application design, and testing. This system build using Arduino uno microcontroller, android smartphone, relay module, web server and ethernet module.
Broadband Wireless Access is new standard of Wireless LAN (WLAN) developed by IEEE which standard is 108.16.The significance of BWA is wide area coverage, more users and without Line of Sight in some situation. This research is using literature study and observation, design and build WLAN network using BWA Wimax. The goal is build wireless network between two offices separate by remote area until fifty kilometres. Summary of this research is two location can be connected using WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). ABSTRAK Broadband Wireless Access merupakan standar Wireless LAN (WLAN) yang dikembangkan IEEE dengan nomor 108.16. Keunggulan BWA adalah jangkauan yang cukup jauh, jumlah pengguna yang lebih banyak dan tanpa Line of Sight dalam situasi tertentu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Studi Pustaka, dan metode observasi, serta merancang dan membangun jaringan WLAN dengan BWA Wimax. Tujuan yang dicapai adalah membangun jaringan nirkabel antara dua kantor yang dipisahkan oleh jarak yang cukup jauh hingga mencapai limapuluh kilometer.Simpulan hasil penelitian adalah bahwa kantor yang terpisah bisa dihubungkan menggunakan WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access (BWA).
Earthquake Early Warning is needed to reduce casualties and material losses. In this research, a system of earthquake disaster early detection system with vibration sensor and fuzzy algorithm is designed that is run on a microcontroller. In this study, the results of vibration measurements are obtained which are posed by earthquake vibrations and simulated in real time. This tool still needs to be developed and further calibrated to get perfect results.
Reservoir has many benefits for the community, one of them is as a means to irrigate land and paddy fields. Normally Open and close the valve on the reservoir is done manually and there are many reservoirs that have less solid wall of resistance. Thus causing the dam wall was destroyed. This tool aims to replace manual work becomes automatic and control the water level in the reservoir. The benefits of this tool is to be able to monitor the water level in the reservoir and make the process automatic irrigation. The sensors used in these tools is the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensors are used to measure the water level in the reservoir, Sensor soil humidity(YL-69) was used to detect the soil humidity in the paddy fields, RTC (Real Time Clock) is used to display the time, the servo motor is used for opening the water valve to the paddy fields and rivers, Module SIM 800L is used to transmit data the output of this tool to the mobile station devices. Arduino Uno is used to control the input and output. Water level control device based on SMS (Short Messaging Service) and Arduino Uno gateways have been tested and the result is a process of can be done automatically and information from these tools can also be viewed through the LCD mounted on the tool. 800L SIM module is used to transmit the data of the output of this tool to the mobile station devices. Arduino Uno is used to control the input and output 800L SIM module is used to transmit the data of the output of this tool to the mobile station devices. ABSTRAK PENDAHULUANDizaman teknologi yang sedang berkembang seperti saat sekarang ini membuat semua alat yang diciptakan dapat membantu manusia dalam pekerjaanya. Seperti halnya pekerjaan-pekerjaan manusia yang dahulunya dilakukan secara manual maka pada saat sekarang ini pekerjaan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan cara yang sangat canggih misalnya hanya dengan melakukan sistem kendali jarak jauhdan juga penggunaan jaringan internet sebagai media penyaluran sinyal kontrol dan pengendali telah berkembang pesat maka pekerjaanpekerjaan yang dahulunya dilakukan berbahaya dan manual dapat dilakukan dengan mudah dengan meminimalisasi bahayanya terhadap keselamatan manuasia dalam menjalankan pekerjaannya. Salah satu contoh manfaat yang dapat kita lihat dalam membuat alat penyaluran sinyal kontrol dan pengendali adalah pengaturan peralatan dirumah tangga seperti pintu rumah, kontrol peralatan elektronik, dan mesin produksi diindustri di mana keseluruhan contoh diatas telah melakukan pekerjaannya dengan menggunakan sistem kendali misalnya pada mesin produksi indutri dimana pada zaman dahulu seluruh pekerjaan dilakukan manual oleh seluruh karyawan apalagi pada saat terjadinya pemotongan bahan di mesin industri produksi banyak terjadi kecelakaankecelakaan yang dialami karyawan dalam menjalankan tugasnya bahkan sampai dengan kehilangan nyawanya.
