Minyak limbah plastik LDPE diesel termasuk energi alternatif yang dikembangkan secara intensif karena untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengurangan konsumsi BBM. Tujuan dari esperimen ini adalah untuk mengetahui unjuk kerja mesin diesel menggunakan cetane booster yang ditambahkan dengan pencampuran minyak plastik LDPE dengan bahan bakar biodiesel untuk meningkatkan angka setana. Komposisi minyak plastik LDPE adalah 29,9%. 69,9% biodiesel dan 0,2% cetane booster. Setelah itu, angka setana meningkat 3,1 dari 48 menjadi 51,1 yang mempengaruhi kinerja mesin. Eksperimental pada mesin diesel Dongfeng R 185 menggunakan campuran bahan bakar minyak plastik LDPE dan biodiesel dengan tambahan cetane booster. Daya puncak sebesar 4,33 HP dan torsi puncak 15,3 NM pada beban 4000-watt menggunakan campuran biosolar dan minyak plastik dengan penambahan cetane booster. Dengan bahan bakar minyak plastik murni, daya maksimum sebesar 4,26 HP dan torsi maksimum sebesar 15 NM pada beban 4000 watt. Penggunaan bahan bakar biosolar dan minyak plastik LDPE dengan penambahan cetane booster berdampak pada peningkatan BTE sebesar 4.6% dan penurunan BSFC sebesar 3.6% dibandingkan dengan biosolar. Namun, menambahkan minyak plastik ke dalam biosolar berdampak buruk terhadap emisi gas buang berupa smoke dengan peningkatan sebesar 12% dibandingkan dengan biosolar.
The performance of heat transfer on a car radiator can be improved by using nanofluids as working fluids. In this study analyzes the of heat transfer performance of Al2O3/water nanofluids that pass through cylindrical pipes in 3D using the CFD simulation method for single phase approach. This research studied the effect of nanofluid concentration 0.1, 0.5, 1 and 1.5% on the heat transfer coefficient. The Reynolds number is varied between 9000 to 23000 and the ambient temperature is constant. The results showed that 1.5% Al2O3/water nanofluid increasing heat transfer coefficient up to 5.7% compared to base fluid.
Cases of motor vehicle theft are still common in the environment around us. The main cause is the knowledge of criminals, the dominant motorcycle security system is the same in every other motorcycle unit that uses a steering handlebar safety lock. Therefore the need for additional safety systems is felt very necessary to avoid motor vehicle theft. From the four tests conducted, the level of accuracy of location scanning by GPS experienced a difference in each test, this is due to the strength of the network received by the GPS device between the two devices, both from the researchers' GPS device and the GPS device attached to the vehicle unit, decreasing the relative accuracy between 6.8% and 17% in testing. The speed of response of the safety device is very dependent on the signal strength and the place where the vehicle or vehicle owner is owned by each provider, from the test delay calls are 3,2 seconds results,it was concluded that TELKOMSEL providers who have a more stable network.This is evidenced by the difference in the time of receipt of the response of vehicle safety devices when testing telephone delay calls and GPS testing. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sentra pemotongan ayam pedaging di Desa Gontor Kecamatan Mlarak Kabupaten Ponorogo. Dalam proses produksinya mitra mengalami permasalahan yaitu limbah bulu ayam mencemari lingkungan di sekitar lokasi produksi. Karena masalah pencemaran limbah bulu ayam ini timbul permasalahan baru yaitu kondisi lngkungan yang tidak sehat terutama dari bau menyengat limbah. Dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini tim pengabdi mengusulkan proposal untuk mengatasi permasalahn mitra dengan cara melatih mitra menggunakan mesin penghancur bulu ayam. Bulu ayam yang sudah hancur nantinya akan digunakan sebagai pakan ternak ikan lele. Dengan demikian akan mengurangi dampak limbah bulu ayam yang dialami oleh mitra. Semakin nyaman lokasi produksi maka produktivitas mitra akan meningkat.
