Teaching is a science and an art. Where teachers are required to intentionally become professional workers who have a number of teaching competencies obtained through formal education. Teaching is also an art, where teachers who have the talent of a teacher will be able to apply a variety of environmental situations, the media, methods, conditions of students, become learning situations that are not boring and will continue to achieve the learner's goals. Teaching as an art causes each teacher to have an idea to create an effective learning phase according to him. From various sources found a variety of learning stages with diverse learning outcomes as well. This research uses a literature research approach, by specifically exposing the Gospel of John 4: 1-42. The results of the study found the stages of learning that Jesus did especially for the Samaritan woman were as follows: 1) introduction; 2) development; 3) presentation of material topics; 4) conclusion; 5) students' responses. Mengajar merupakan sebuah ilmu dan sebuah seni. Dimana guru dituntut untuk secara sengaja menjadi tenaga professional yang memiliki sejumlah kompetensi mengajar yang diperoleh melalui pendidikan formal. Mengajar juga merupakan seni, dimana guru yang mempunyai bakat seorang guru akan mampu menerapkan berbagai situasi lingkungan, media, metode, kondisi peserta didik, menjadi situasi pembelajaran yang tidak membosankan dan tetap akan mencapai tujuan pembelajarnya. Mengajar sebagai seni mengakibatkan setiap guru memiliki ide untuk membuat sebuah tahapan pembelajaran yang efektif menurutnya. Dari berbagai sumber ditemukan tahapan pembelajaran yang bermacam-macam dengan hasil belajar yang bermacam-macam pula. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Pustaka, dengan mengekposisi secara khusus Injil Yohanes 4: 1-42. Hasil penelitian ditemukan tahapan pembelajaran yang dilakukan Yesus terutama untuk perempuan Samaria adalah sebagai berikut: 1) pendahuluan; 2) pengembangan; 3) penyajian topik materi; 4) kesimpulan; 5) tanggapan peserta didik.
