The advancement and use of smart-phones and internet resulted in improving online services.Zomato is a digital platform combining restaurants and an online food delivery systemlaunched in 2008. The implementation of Lockdown to slow down the spread of pandemicCOVID-19 resulted in badly affecting tourism, transport, economy, and hotel industry. Zomatofood delivery is recovering from the effect of COVID-19 at a rapid rate with ~80% recoveryin metro regions. The revenue in the fiscal year 2020 is increased by 105% and cost by 47%.The main objective of this paper is to understand online food delivery service by using a survey,how Zomato is operating in COVID-19, its effect on the culture of the hotel industry, theintroduction of contactless dinning and challenges. The evaluation of the company is doneusing the SWOT analysis.
The automobile industry faces a significant problem due to slow down in economy/gross domestic product (GDP). The COVID-19 is affecting tourism, traveling and auto shows. It makes transportation simple, easy, and secure by implementing new emerging technologies such as image processing, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and transforming from simple vehicles to smart & autonomous vehicles. The study in this paper aims to analyse the market using sales/production data collected from the organization Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles (OICA) across different regions, measures taken to overcome the recession caused by COVID-19 by analyzing similar situations and challenges faced in smart/autonomous vehicle. The challenges faced by autonomous vehicles with reference to camera and processing of captured image/video processing are discussed. Analysis of automobile Sales/Production shows the connection between market and GDP/economy.

Realizing the need of having e-commercebusiness in China, Alibaba.com got established by former English teacher Ma Yun, popularlyknown as Jack Ma, along with 17 other partners. During the dot com bubble burst, many of theUS based e-commerce companies’ either had to shut down or went bankrupts except Chinesebased Alibaba.com as Chinese market was immune to the recession. Clear vision and intelligentleadership quality of Jack Ma turned e-commerce Company into a largest online commercecompany of China within a short span of time. Alibaba continued its journey of growth bothorganically and inorganically by acquiring other companies. Later in 2009 Alibaba groupentered into cloud computing business, and started to develop artificial intelligence solutionsto support its own platform and to solve complex real-world problems. Alibaba diversified itsrevenue sources by expanding business to different domains within two decades of its inceptionto reach US $72 billion. Presently, the Alibaba group has pioneered in consulting, e-commerce,finance, technology, artificial intelligence and many more. The study in this paper describeshow the Alibaba group continued its journey towards success along with business model, majorbusinesses, financial status and corporate social responsibility. To understand the strengths,weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the Alibaba group, a methodical SWOC analysiswas conducted. Based on the SWOC analysis, some recommendations are also provided.
