The article is devoted to the analysis of the directions of the economy structure development of single-industry regions, the specific features of the “industrial transition” with a focus on strengthening sectoral diversity, which is typical for all countries of the world. The purpose of the study has been to substantiate the existing development tracks in relation to the position of the core industry and changes in the level of manufacturability of the activities of the region's space. The study has been carried out on the example of four regions of the Russian Federation specializing in the metallurgical industry (Lipetsk, Vologda, Chelyabinsk regions, and Krasnoyarsk Territory). The methodology of the work is based on the theory of new economic geography and the uniqueness of the territorial economy even of regions similar in terms of single industry. Modern methods, coefficient and correlation analysis have been used to compare the types of activities by the Russian National Classifier of Economic Activities and the principles of grouping branches of the Eurostat from the standpoint of the manufacturability of sectors. As a result of assessing the structure of the regional economy and cross-interactions between industries, alternative options for the development of metallurgical regions have been substantiated from the standpoint of the role of a single industry and the activity of sectors of different levels of manufacturability. An increase in the presence of industries not assessed by the level of manufacturability (Lipetsk Region and Krasnoyarsk Territory) and strengthening in the regions of medium-high manufacturability activities (Vologda and Chelyabinsk regions) have been revealed. It is concluded that cross-interaction between medium-low and medium-high industries is activated in regions with intra-industry diversification (both within the metallurgical and machine-building industries, as in the Chelyabinsk Region). The practical significance of the findings lies in the development of an analytical platform for the formation of a strategy for the development of basic sectors of the economy and monitoring its implementation.
The strategic goals of spatial development of the Russian Federation are focused on finding promising specializations and simulating the differentiated development of regions. One of the mechanisms for the formation of regional uniqueness and transformation of the structure of the economy in multidisciplinary regions is the mechanism of agglomeration as a simultaneous pro-cess of intra-industry diversification and industrial concentration of the economic activity of a single industry (MAR effects) and the process of territorial concentration of resources, industries, competencies, dynamizing intersectoral diversification of economic activity (Jacobs effects). The ratio in intensity and strength of MAR and Jacobs effects determines promising centers of growth and specialization of regions. The article is aimed at assessing the uniqueness and substantiating the differentiated development of single-industry regions from the standpoint of identifying MAR and Jacobs effects using the example of official statistics for four regions of the metallurgical profile: Lipetsk, Vologda, Chelyabinsk regions, and Krasnoyarsk Territory. The assessment of in-tegral indices, as characterizing the results of changes in the structure of the economy using the example of these effects, has made it possible to substantiate the spectrum of unique trajectories of sectoral development, which varies from a symmetric polycentric sectoral structure in the Li-petsk Region to the preservation of monocentricity in the Chelyabinsk Region. The developed methodology for assessing regional uniqueness and identifying areas of differentiated develop-ment can become the basis for the formation of a complex of differentiated measures of public administration and support.
Purpose This study aims to explore the factors that influence young green actual consumption behavior (GACB) by examining the relational and technological aspects that are dependent on technology and youth green buying intention (GBI). Additionally, this study endeavors to examine the moderating effect of adolescent green organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on the association between young consumer GBI and young GACB. Design/methodology/approach The data for this study was collected from a sample of 282 university students located in the southern region of China. A time lag approach was used in this study, with data being gathered during two separate intervals spaced apart by duration of two months. Findings The findings of this study demonstrate that both technological and relational factors play a significant role in predicting young consumer GBI, which in turn predicts young GACB. Additionally, the results indicate that GBI is a crucial facilitator in the investigation. Furthermore, the results reveal that young green OCB serves as a significant moderator, enhancing the association between young consumer GBI and young consumer GACB. Originality/value The present study provides a novel perspective on the examination of how technology and relational factors impact young consumers, offering a deeper understanding of their intentions and actual consumption behavior. The findings of this study offer both theoretical and practical implications for academics, policymakers, senior managers and practitioners, providing valuable insights into the field.
Abstract. The article is devoted to the creation of efficient economic mechanisms of innovative systems self-development regulation. In the current social and economic conditions stimulating innovative development remains one of the most important tasks of the state economic policy. One of the instruments used to activate the innovative processes is the territories of advancing social and economic development. A special legal regime in such territories provides various preferences for their residents, including tax benefits. The criteria of the preferences provided to the entities are formal, and the management mechanisms of the territory are "indistinct" and subjective. In this regard the development and research of the mechanisms stimulating positive dynamics of economic development according to the actual growth of production efficiency are presented.
