Both Math and English are the two subjects that most of students have difficulty on it. To understand Math requires logical thinking that most of students do not have. To understand English, in which the written and sound are different with our first language, requires habit to hear and write English a lot. Students need to be accustomed to using English on everyday activities. In fact, most of students tend to use Javanese or Indonesian to communicate to others. Teachers also get difficulties on motivating students to learn Math and English for the better future. Some students have struggled to learn them, but still, the results are not satisfying.Observing this phenomenon, as the lecturers of English and Math, we are trying to help the teachers on giving material with the different point of views. We introduced different approaches on giving exposure to students about Math and English. English will be taught by employing Podcast, math will be introduced by using Geogebra. It is expected that teachers and students will have another perspectives; we can say that the teachers may have another style of teaching and students will get additional learning styles.
The present article aims to study the level of students’ satisfaction of PGRI Yogyakarta University towards service and facilities quality. To try and understand the factors which influence student satisfaction as well as consequences of it, this study test a weighted least squares model of student satisfaction. The data were collected through a questionnaire administered to 160 students of PGRI Yogyakarta University to investigate their perceptions of the universities services. A questionnaire containing 30 questions has been used for data collection. The data were analyzed using the descriptive technique and the weighted least squares analysis. The measurement of the service quality is an important element to provide better, more efficient and more effective services. SPSS Software and Cronbach alpha index have been used for data analysis and reliability. The reliability factor should be improved first because it is dominant in determining the students’ satisfaction. Quality indicators constituting the reliability factor include classroom, library, laboratory, public area, and information system. The results show that, by percentage, 2 indicators are in the very good category, only 5 indicators are in the good category, 9 indicators are in the fairly good category, and 14 indicators are in the poor category. The results indicate that the universities service quality needs to be improving. The results of the analysis show that five determinant factors of the students’ satisfaction include tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. By the priority scale, the reliability factor should be improved first because it is dominant in determining the students’ satisfactionThe present article aims to study the level of students’ satisfaction of PGRI Yogyakarta University towards service and facilities quality. This study aims to explain and test the performance of the best forecasting model for world oil prices. The world oil price is included in a time-series data type that has high volatility and different variants at each point in time. Precise and precise time-series modeling of this type of data is required to properly explain structural changes and explain any shift in volatility. The method that is applied and produces the best model in describing world oil prices is the Markov Regime Switching-GARCH. Modeling results can be used as alternative data for investor’s consideration for determining their investment decisions.
