This study aims to provide information related to the Quality of Work Life on Employee Performance. Quality of Work Life is a problem that can not be underestimated, because it will affect the Employee Performance in achieving organizational goals. Achievement of organizational goals tends to decline is allegedly associated with work morale that is also unstable. This research is aimed to find out how big influence of Quality of Work Life to Employee Performance at Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Batang Hari Regency either arsial or simultaneously. The method used in this study is descriptive and verifikatif with independent variables (Work Life Quality) and the dependent variable (Employee Performance). The unit of analysis of this study is all employees of the Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Batang Hari Regency, the sample in this study amounted to 38 employees, taken with the technique of withdrawal Proportional random sampling. Test data analysis using Path Analysis (Path Analysis) with the help of SPSS 20.0 for windows program. The Application of Quality of Work Life has been very well implemented, Morale looks increasing in both criteria and Employee Performance is included in the criteria very well. The results showed that the Quality of Work Life directly affects Employee Performance of 8.5%.
The problem of Indonesian education, especially at the SMK level, is very complex and requires serious attention. One of the highlights is the not yet optimal performance of educators in producing quality graduates. Based on the results of a study on several factors that influence the improvement of the performance of educators, it is assumed that the most dominant factors are leadership and interpersonal communication. This research uses descriptive and verification methods to answer the research hypothesis. Data were collected using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Leadership has a contribution of 57.61% in improving the performance of educators, interpersonal communication has acontribution of 58.8% in improving the performance of educators. Meanwhile, the leadership and interpersonal communication carried out simultaneously contributed 64.5% in improving the performance of the teaching staff, with the relationship between variables being strong and high. Thus, the performance of educators can be improved by increasing the effectiveness of leadership and interpersonal communication.ABSTRAKMasalah pendidikan Indonesia terkhusus pada tingkatan SMK masih sangat kompleks dan perlu perhatian yang serius. Salah satu yang tersorot ialah belum optimalnya kinerja tenaga pendidik dalam mencetak lulusan yang berkualitas. Berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap beberapa faktor yang menjadi pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik, diduga faktor yang dominan ialah kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Kepemimpinan memiliki kontribusi sebesar 57,61% dalam meningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik, komunikasi interpersonal memiliki kontribusi sebesar 58,8% dalam meningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik. Sedangkan secara bersamaan kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal yang dijalakan memiliki kontribusi sebesar 64,5% dalam meningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik dengan tingkat keeratan hubungan antar variabel adalah kuat dan tinggi. Dengan demikian, kinerja tenaga pendidik dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara meningkatkan efektivitas kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal.
The problem faced by one of the private construction companies in Jakarta, Indonesia is the delay in completing the grounding and lightning protection installation project. This delay resulted in both material and immaterial losses for the company. Factors that are thought to cause delays in this grounding and lightning protection installation project include man, machine, material, and environment factors. The method used in this research is the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Crashing method to accelerate the project duration and determine the effective time and cost that can be used to complete the grounding and lightning protection installation project and the root cause analysis method with fishbone diagrams and 5 why analysis as tools to find out the root causes of problems and formulate corrective actions that may be taken by the company. The most effective and efficient acceleration alternative in terms of time and cost that can be applied by the company is the alternative of additional labour. The additional labour alternative is able to reduce the duration of work with the smallest additional cost compared to other alternatives. Meanwhile, the factors that cause delays in project work can be seen from the root causes of each factor. The root cause of each factor is then used as the basis for formulating corrective actions that can be taken by the company.
