Educational technology is the study and practice of using technology to facilitate and enhance learning performance. During the Covid-19 pandemic, digital learning and the use of information technology were one of the solutions to minimize the risk of Covid-19, according to the government's health protocol. As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), the Dharma Laksana Orphanage receives computer set donations from their funders. Based on preliminary reviews, the use of these computer devices is not optimal, both for students and teachers. The inability to optimize the use of computer devices seems to have an impact on the effectiveness of learning approaches by utilizing information technology. This Community Service was performed using the Service Learning methodology and was designed to assist in the development of human resources related to learning methods and media used during the Covid-19 pandemic. During this activity, Edmodo, the leading social learning platform, was successfully introduced. Blended Learning with Google Apps is also covered. It increased both student and teacher awareness of digital learning, as well as teacher competence in creating interactive learning media, by introducing a variety of educational platforms.
Higher Education is the level of higher education or further education after a high school education or equivalent. Based on the observations of researchers in Bali Island, especially in the city of Denpasar is very growing growth of universities by providing a variety of courses so that information about the college is not maximally known by the general public and high school alumni / equivalent in particular who want to continue to higher education level. To provide more interactive and effective information then built the application of geographic information system of the spread of universities on the island of Bali by using Arcview GIS as its tools. The data needed on this system is spatial data and non spatial data. Spatial data is a data type of vector that has the characteristics of point, line and polygon. Point is used to represent cities and colleges, lines used to represent roads and polygons are used to represent areas of the district locations of the college. The non-spatial data is the attribute data describing the college. Spatial data and non-spatial data intergrated are implemented in ArcView in the form of digital maps. The process undertaken in this study is the grouping of universities by type of universities, institutes, high schools, polytechnics and academies. Grouping by type of college in each regency / municipality on the island of Bali with the aim to facilitate in obtaining information of colleges in each kabupeten so that people can calculate the distance of residence with the desired college. The result of this research is application of university dissemination in each regency / municipality and application of university deployment in Bali Island by using ArcView GIS (Geographic Information Siystem) software.
Agriculture is an activity of exploiting natural resources performed by humans to meet their needs, especially as staple food. Agricultural activities can produce foodstuffs, raw materials for industry, energy and also can balance the natural ecosystems. People may have forgotten the function of agriculture for several factors. Mentioning one, the population growth, with the result that land conversion is done to housing. Another, an economic concern that being a farmer does not guarantee the future, so that people have turned to other livelihoods that are considered promising, and other factors. Based on these facts that there has been a decline in agricultural land from 2011-2014 in Denpasar area, especially South Denpasar District, which can affect the amount of agricultural production as staple food. Total production of staple crops, especially rice plants, has decreased significantly in 2014.It became great concern to government and people in finding a solution. Due to lack of information on the impact of agricultural land conversion that affects the production, so that food needs are not met. Based on those problems, it is necessary to forecast the number of agricultural production using Quadratic Trend Method based on GIS (Geographic Information System) application using ArcView software. The results of this forecast that are implemented with a digital map can be used as a reference to the government in making decisions and create people awareness how important it is to preserve agriculture.
Agriculture is an activity in utilizing natural resources made by humans so that they can produce food, raw materials for industrial enterprises, energy and natural balance. Imagine if a country's territory there is no agricultural land as a strategic sector or agricultural land into residential land entirely different functions then the country can not meet the primary needs due to hold human life in need of food. Food is a primary need of agricultural products should need to be increased the number of its production due to offset population. The limited agricultural land in Denpasar from year to year will affect agricultural output. Based on these problems will require analysis of agricultural products in order to determine the increase or decrease in agricultural output in Denpasar using geographic information systems and GIS ArcView 3.3 as tools that can be used as an ingredient in decision making by the government. The method used in this research is the collection of spatial data and non-spatial data, data analysis of agricultural products in their respective districts in the city of Denpasar, database creation and conduct digitized into a digital map. Results from this study is a digital map that provides information on the increase or decrease of agricultural output in 2011-2014 in each district in the city of Denpasar.
