Perineal rupture is one of the causes of maternal morbidity and mortality during the post partum. The occurrence of infection can slow the healing of the perineal wound because the tissue that will grow into new tissue in the wound is damaged. Based on data, at Cimacan Hospital in June to August 2021 there were 105 cases of women who experienced perineal rupture during labor. This study aims to find out the Effect Pineapple Juice on The Healing of Perineal Wounds in post partum women at Cimacan Hospital. This study uses the design of Quasy Eksperiment with a postest only control group approach, by dividing two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The sample in this study amounted to 30 women with rupture consisting of 15 experimental groups and 15 control groups. Sample selection technique using total sampling. Research instruments consist of documentation, observation sheets as well as the REEDA scale. The data was analyzed using the Independent t test to determine the difference in influence between groups. The results showed that there was an influence on the healing of perineal wounds of the experimental group and the control group given pineapple juice and those that were not, with a significance value of 0.02 which means p<0.05. The preparation of pineapple has an effect on the healing of perineal wounds in women with rupture perineum. It is hoped that the results of this study can invite others to know the benefits of pineapple juice for perineal wound healing.
Aedes spp. are the primary vectors of arboviruses such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya. To date neither an approved vaccine nor a drug that can definitively prevent or treat these diseases, vector control continues to be an essential method of disease prevention. Plant-based insecticides are an alternative to chemical insecticides because they are less toxic to non-target insects and degrade more quickly. The Papuan people have used Pangi leaves for generations as a potent natural chemical against head lice and mosquito larvae. This study aimed to evaluate the potential of pangi (Pangium edule) leaf extract as a biolarvicide and mosquito repellent. Fresh pangi leaves were extracted with water by using a blender to pulverize the leaves. One-way ANOVA was used to examine the variance in mortality rates, and the LC50 value was calculated for probit analysis. Dead larvae were identified and counted. In addition to testing the effectiveness of the extracts as biolarvicide, the extract was also tested as potential insect repellents. The findings demonstrated that pangi leaf extract can kill mosquito larvae. The concentration of the extract affected larval mortality. Furthermore, the extract demonstrated its effectiveness as an insect repellent. Pangi leaf extract contains alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenolic compounds, and cyanide compounds, with alkaloids being the most abundant. The study found that there was a direct correlation between the concentration of the insecticide and the number of dead Aedes spp. larvae. The LC50 probit test revealed that pangi leaf extract belongs to the category of toxic substances. Several compounds, including alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and cyanide, may be responsible for the toxicity of pangi leaf extract. Thus, pangi leaf extract might be established as a means of overcoming numerous health issues caused by mosquito vectors.
This study uses a quantitative approach to see the causal relationship of several factors that influence employee performance. The population in this study were the employees of the Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kuningan Regency totaling 61 employees. Data were collected by questionnaire and document study, after which the data were tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that Managerial Ability, Motivation and Work Discipline had an effect on employee performance simultaneously. The Multiple Determination Coefficient in this study uses the adjusted R square value because the independent variables in this study are more than 2 in estimating the influence of the two independent variables studied. From the adjusted R Square value data of 0.583, Although the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is included in the medium classification. According to the author's suggestion, it should be further improved, especially in terms of managerial ability from the leadership, then the motivation that must be increased and no less important is Work Discipline from the employees themselves, so this will have an impact on increasing employee performance.
