Abstrucr-Past and present technological developments in microstrip antenna arrays are summarized. Emphasis is on exploring the potential of such arrays for satisfying the requirements of advanced military and commercial applications.

A method for designing an offset-fed parabolic cylinder antenna which has sidelobes of-50 dB or Iw over a IS-percent frequency band is presented. Thedesigned antenna was built and tested, and shown to have approximately-W B sidelobes. although over a slightly different band than designed for.
