Purpose: As a result of limited financial resources, agriculture has been plagued by a lack of profitability. Diverse policy initiatives have been made to improve access to finance, including: Affordability has always been an issue for policymakers in India, and it will continue to be. As the title suggests, the aim of this study is to explore the requirements and policy interventions in the domains of farm financing. Design/Methodology/Approach: Attempts are made in this article to examine the government’s agricultural policy measures in this country. Information for the article was culled from the Reserve Bank of India and numerous annual documents. Findings: It was found in the study that most of today’s treatments have been tried or recommended in the past, but was not successful for various reasons. However, if such measures had been undertaken at that time, India would have ranked among the top countries in terms of access to finance. Originality/Value: This study is unusual in that it attempts to trace the history of agricultural finance in India, as well as the numerous agricultural policies that have been enacted as a result of agricultural finance. Purpose: The main motive of this research was to assess the overall functioning of public sector banks before merger and after the merger. At the same time effective comparison is been undertaken between public and private sector banks. One of the most crucial practices of evaluating the performance of bank involves critical examination of account statements concerning annual report. Major parameters for evaluating the Banks’s performance include assessment of adequate capital, quality of assets, ability of management to control the risk, earning capacity and liquid adequacy to meet the monetary obligations by the banks. Impact of merger on the bank’s performance are measured and compared to judge its effectiveness. Methodology: Quarterly published financial statements from 2019-20 to 2020-21 of selected banks are used for the analysis. Analysis is based on CAMEL model where the performance is rated on a scale of 1 to 5 on the basis of rating analysis. This study applied t-test as inferential statistics to draw a conclusion based on a comparative analysis. Findings: The study revealed there is significant difference in the performance of selected merged public sector banks and private banks and it was found that even after the merger of public sector banks it is not able to strive against private sector banks in their overall performance. Originality: It may be helpful to the government in making the merger an effective strategy by changing its policies and practices in consolidating the banks. Banking sectors are the major contributor to country’s GDP hence the result of this study can be utilized to improve both public and private sector banks. Utilitarian Implication: This study will be valuable and pragmatic to the various stakeholders like investors, banking sectors, government, employees, customers, management and society as a whole to maintain their stake in these banks. Purpose: The concept of a company having societal and stakeholder duties is widely acknowledged, and its acceptance has exploded in the latest days. The goal of this study is to look into how to work attachment affects the relationship between employee perceptions of socially responsible acts and managerial commitment. Methodology: This research article utilizes secondary data from research, journal papers, and scholarly research articles on the research subject area. This study focused on the domains which are influenced by the corporate sector's efforts in ethical business practices. The goal is to learn what employees think about their organization’s corporate social sustainability initiatives. Findings: CSR has a significant influence on employee work engagement, according to the study's findings, corporate so8cial responsibility has the ability to enhance employee attitudes and behaviors while also helping businesses succeed, making it a win scenario. As a result, firms should prioritize CSR programs in order to benefit their workforce. Furthermore, four elements of CSR must be considered equally: economic, legal, ethical, and discretionary duties. Each dimension has an unavoidable ramification. The findings reveal that philanthropic responsibility has an impact on work attitudes, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, even when it is not directly tied to employees, and that these elements operate as crucial mediators between CSR perception and employee behaviors. As a result, when engaging in CSR activities, corporations should consider employee participation levels. The purpose of this study is to establish a paradigm for better understanding the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on workers’ attitudes and behaviors at job. Practical implications: According to the findings, companies that engage in corporate sustainability initiatives have a useful impact on employees’ attitudes toward the company, resulting in higher levels of organizational belonging and job satisfaction, which is likely to boost productivity. Originality/ Value: The research will help companies structure their CSR activities so that they have a balanced impact across multiple locations, as well as assess employee attitudes toward CSR processes. Purpose: NGOs are non-governmental organizations that work for society and are therefore well aware of society's problems and areas for change. Many NGOs operate on a variety of societal issues. As a result of their enormous advantage in reaching the needy, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community organizations play a critical role in the establishment of a healthy and better environment in developing countries under the corporate social obligation model. Methodology: The current study relied on secondary data. The study's conclusions give a concept for CSR operations as well as an evaluation of how the NASSCOM foundation meets its promises to all stakeholders, including specific activities, programmers, and initiatives. The analysis focuses on the foundation's CSR implementation to define the business's target area. Findings: The analytical framework provided an overview of NASSCOM foundations CSR programmes, including scope for debates on emerging themes in development, efficient techniques, and scalable models for long-term impacts. Practical implication: This study relies entirely on secondary data because no primary data were obtained from any source. The complete range of contributions to social transformation was assembled using secondary data from a variety of sources, and there is no information on how much corporate influence over the content of CSR reports exists. The research piece is based on a few cases of NGO-Corporate partnership, from which no broad conclusions can be derived. It's even more difficult to quantify the success rate of CSR-related activities for each project because different publicly financed programmes can take different approaches to tackle societal issues. Originality/ Value: By using this research model, we can deduce that the NASSCOM foundation needs to create action platforms that promote discourse throughout the IT-BPM sector and encourage the sharing of best practices on diverse methods to create a roadmap for an inclusive India.
