Spark plug is component or device of internal combustion engine (ICE) for make a compression and transfer energy to vehicle. Component of spark plug is center electrode, gasket, hexagon, insulator, corrugation, and terminal nut, the all component will assembly for internal combustion engine component. Thread is a critical component for connection spark plug and engine. the key of perfect thread is reed roll process when the motor makes a shell of part, the forced and rpm should be stable and do not over force for eliminate failure part. This study will discuss of forced analysis on thread and structure analyze from material spark plug after process. The result show in this case useing 2000 rpm and force 197,8N. Based on spot test material after threading, no any crack finding, only black dot due processing. Tortion test after assemblu 5 Kgf, for the lowest sample 1 is 8 Kgf, middle is sample 2 is 12 Kgf, and the bigger is 13 Kgf for sampling test. Igintion on sprak plug are normaly for ignition voltage lower is 13,3 kV, middle 15,3 kV, high 17,5 kV, and average is 15,3kV.
Containment ring is component on engine for turbofan engines of air plane. The function of Containment ring is for balancing assembly part as the shaft, retaining disk and fully bladed disk on turbofan of airplanes. The component of containment ring is bushing for join of part on engine. The joint process of production on bushing and ring using welding process. This study will discuss of structure analyze of welding area on containment ring using Non-Destructive Test (NDT). Method of analyze is additional chemical on welding area using ADROX for focusing crack are in material after welding process. The material of ring and busing is stainless steel FYNIS SUS304. The result show that welding areas of joint no any crack finding after 10 specimens tested of Containment ring. The checking method using additional chemical ARDROX 9814 (penetrant) in welding areas for inside and outside areas of the part.
Kompresor adalah salah satu alat bantu yang dapat menggerakan mesin-mesin industri dengan sistem pneumatic dimana kompresor konsep kerja nya merubah energi listrik menjadi energi gerak. Tujuan penulisan adalah memahami mekanisme dari Compressed Air System, memahami mulai dari mekanisme, spesifikasi pada sistem kompresor mulai dari kompresor, particular filter, air receiver, air dryer dan fine filter. Menganalisa perhitungan volume yang dibutuhkan pada industri. Selanjut nya mencari data tentang sistem kompresor di PT. Agya makmur mengenai materi sistem kompresor beserta alat-alat lain nya pada sistem kompresor tersebut, yaitu kompresor, air receiver tank, particular filter, air dryer, dan fine filter. Selanjutnya menjelaskan sistem kompresor, seperti kompresor tipe screw memiliki beberapa komponen seperti air intake, intake valve, air and screw, oil sparator, air and oil cooler, dan oil filter komponen tersebut memiliki spesifikasi masing-masing dan mempunyai kegunaan nya masing-masing. Lalu melakukan penelitian mengenai menganalisa perhitungan volume yang dibutuhkan yang sesuai kebutuhan dan paling efisien digunakan dengan menggunakan rumus FAD. Dimana hasil yang di dapat pada perhitungan FAD untuk menentukan kompresor yang efisien.
Injection is manufacturing process for make a product using thermoplastic material, critical part for electric normally should be self-protecting from fire. Flame Retardant (FR) is a type of thermoplastic material that is resistant to fire and can to mixed additive between resin plastic. Application of FR on various types of plastic resins such as polypropylene (PP). This study discusses the analysis of flame retardant for cover electrical using material polypropylene and benzene additive compound. This study shows that PP and benzene can mixed for create FR grade for application injection plastic. In the physical structure this material has a crack after scanning ×10,000. that elongation of material has a different in some temperature, for 30 ◦C elongation of material is 50%, for 60 ◦C elongation material is 60% and for 90◦C elongation about 90%. Heat capacity of material average in 2700J/kg◦C. average of drop time fire in cover electric average is 1,12 second.
Flame Retardant (FR) is a type of thermoplastic material that is resistant to fire. Application of FR on various types of plastic resins such as polypropylene (PP), Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and other types of plastic resins. This study discusses the analysis of Brominated Aromatic Compound as a mixture of Polypropylene to produce PP-FR types for plastic injection molding with the material formulation method to perform a flame retardant test on the results of the specimens that have been made. This study shows that PP material and Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene can bind scanning microscopes with ×15,000 and ×30,000 zoom. The extrusion process results did not experience cracks after going through a chamber test of -5 ◦C to 70 ◦C for 120 hours on the specimen. In addition, the results of the flame retardant test fire can die in under 2 seconds
